KYOKA POV

It was finally here, the first day of classes at UA. Walking through the halls almost felt like a dream and not only because of the giant doors. I mean seriously is that even necessary? After wandering through the halls aimlessly for longer than I'd like to admit I found the door for Class 1-A. I took a deep breath as I opened the door. There were a few people already inside. A girl with pink horns was talking to a guy with red hair. There was what I assumed was a girl based on her uniform sitting in the front row. Nothing out of the ordinary except for the fact that she is invisible. Sitting in the back row was a guy with red and white hair. He had a scar on the left side of his face and next to him was... someone who was asleep.

I made my way to my desk according to the letter we received. I was going to be in seat twelve. I took my seat and set my bag next to my desk. I don't know why but something felt familiar about whoever was sleeping in the back. Slowly but surely more students started to come in and as luck would have it Kaminari was sitting right next to me.

"Universe, at this point I don't know if you're torturing me or sending me a blessing."

Before too long everyone in the class was in the room talking. Thanks to my jacks I was able to hear all the conversations. One that peaked my interest was between a girl and the guy in the first line of desks. Apparently they recognized the guy sleeping in the back of the class from the exam. The boy with blue hair was wanting to wake him up while the girl with the brown bobbed hair was trying to convince him not to. She was not doing a good job. It was obvious she wanted to see what would happen.

The boy with blue hair decided to approach him.

"Excuse me but you shouldn't be sleeping, class is about to start."

"He wasn't technically wrong but still let the guy get some rest."

The boy didn't answer verbally. He just raised an arm and flicked him off.

I let out a small. "I was not expecting that response. I think he and I would get along great."

The girl in the back broke out into laughter. "Again he did it to you again!"

"Alright, apparently this has happened before."

"Please stop this, I know you think it's funny but four times too much."

"Apparently this has happened four times now."

The boy raised his other hand and flicked him off with it as well.

"Scratch that, make it five now."

By this point the majority of the class was watching the interaction and either laughing or making comments about it.

"Alright that's enough, it's time for class to start."

"That voice... there's no way it couldn't be."

The class quickly quieted down and faced the front of the room... but no one was there. After a moment a man in a yellow sleeping bag appeared from behind the podium.

"I have several questions. The biggest is where did he come from?"

He stepped out of the sleeping bag and rolled it up. "My name is Shota Aizawa. I'm going to be your homeroom teacher, today is going to be a rather quick day. We're going to do introductions, then we're going to do a quirk assessment test, and after that we're going to the dorms you'll be staying at. The rest of the day will be spent setting up your rooms and getting settled in. All of you received a letter inviting your parents to come to the dorms tonight. This will give you all an opportunity to get to know each other better and put your parents' minds at ease since they will have an idea of who you will be living with for the next three years. Now let's get started, seat one front and center." He pointed in front of the podium.
