IZUKU POV

"Alright kid, are you going to tell us what's going on now?" He turned around to look at Kyoka and myself sitting in the back seat. "While you're at it, explain why Jirou is coming with us."

"So we're back to kid now? That didn't take long."

"Back to kid now? What does he mean by that Shota?" Mama Joke looked at him with a curious expression.

"Well yesterday after the exam Pops-"

"Did you hear that I was going to be teaching him how to use the capture scarf next week?"

Mama Joke immediately turned around excited. "Izuku you finally beat Shota!?"

"Umm... yeah... he was who I had to face for my final exam." I looked at her confused. "Did Pops not tell you about that?"

She shot a small glare at Pops. "No, he conveniently left that out."

"Did he tell you about how he tried to make a quote during our fight?"

Mama Joke looked at Pops perplexed. "Who are you and what have you done with Shota? I should have known something was wrong when you said to get tomorrow night off no matter what."

"Relax Mama Joke, he broke the cardinal rule of quoting during battle."

She turned back to me. "Don't quote shity shows?"

I gave her a small nod. "Yep, but don't worry I already told and showed him how to properly do it."

She turned back around. "Huh, I guess it really is you Shota."

"Sooo, is this how all of the conversations go between the three of you?"

I took Kyokas hand and squeezed it a little. "Yeah, more or less."

She let out a small laugh. "Sounds like a fun time."

"It is, so you better get used to it." Mama Joke gave her a smile.

The four of us continued to drive in a somewhat comfortable silence. The only thing to break the silence was the music that was softly playing. After a few minutes I looked at Kyoka and gave her a smirk. Her reaction was confused but she shrugged and accepted whatever I was going to do.

"So yesterday Pops finally called me by my name."

The sound of his forehead hitting the steering wheel was followed by a muffled voice. "God dammit."

Mama Joke turned to him with the biggest smile again. "Please tell me someone got it on recording."

Pops let out a sigh. "Thankfully there seemed to be a glitch where we lost all sound towards the end of the fight."

Mama Jokes turned dejected. "What? That's not fair. How did that happen? I thought UA was super prestigious?"

"You can always file your complaints with the Principal... again."

"Izuku had night terrors for weeks after just one training session with Nezu."

Kyoka looked towards me shocked. "You had night terrors?"

"Chaos is an angel who fell in love with a demon."

Kyoka looked at me concerned. "Izuku, what's with the shady quotes about angels, demons, and the devil recently?"

Mama Joke let out a sigh. "I guess we need to call Midnight again."

"Why would we need to call her?" Kyoka turned her attention to Mama Joke.

"The Principal is a very... dedicated... instructor who demands perfection and excels in mental battles. Many students dropped out of the Hero course after attending a single supplementary lesson taught by the Principal. The kid survived a year and a half of his lesson plans and ten combat training classes. He was lucky to only have the occasional night terror."
