Yandere Moblit x reader (modern AU)

You lie on your back on your bed, music blaring through your speakers, phone in your hand. Your eyes are closed as you listen to your favorite song. It's been on repeat for an hour now, you never grow tired of it. The phone in your hand starts buzzing as you recieve a bunch of messages at once. A little annoyed you open your eyes and lift your hand up to look at the messages on your screen. It's a group chat that was blowing up. Your wifi apparently struggled for a while because these messages were sent some time ago. Countless messages from your friends come pouring in. You read the last few. "(Y/n), if you don't show up soon we're leaving without you." You mutter as you read a message from a person who's name in your phone is Shortass. "Don't listen to Levi, we'll wait for you. Just don't make us wait long." Another message from someone nicknamed Eyebrows says. "(Y/n)'s probably just taking a big fat shit! Let my girl poop in peace!" You say with a soft chuckle as you read the message from Best Bitch. Eventually you read the last message sent by someone who's name in your phone is Mama Moblit. "We can always just watch another movie or see the same one at a later time. We don't have to be on time. We didn't buy the tickets yet after all. If (y/n) needs some more time we should just do something else untill she's ready to join us." You smile as you read this message and get up from your bed. You turn off the music and quickly get ready to leave. You sort of forgot that you were going to the cinema with your friends today.

As you reach your usual meeting spot you see your four friends sitting on the two trusty park benches you have spent so many hours on together. As you run up to them you are met with three smiles and a frown. "Finally..." Levi mutters. "Why is it always you who's late and not Foureyes? I honestly expected you to be more punctual than her." He says before taking a sip from his tea. Only now you notice that all your friends have a drink in hand, they must have gone to a nearby Starbucks while they were waiting for you.

"Well, that's because Hanji has a room mate called Moblit to drag her ass out the door. I don't have a personal human alarm clock." You say as you flop down onto the bench next to your brown haired best friend. Moblit, seated on Hanji's other side, reaches a cup out to you. He must have bought you a drink as well. You take it and smell it. "Aw, my favorite! Thanks!" You say with a big smile. You look at Moblit and smirk. "And that's why you're the mother of this group." You say before taking a sip. Your friend group could almost be a weird little family. Levi and Erwin are the dads, you and Hanji are the disaster children and Moblit is the mom who keeps it all together. "So, what movie can we still catch?" You ask as you swallow your drink.

After about an hour you find yourself in the cinema, seated comfortably in the typical red chairs. The movie you picked is a screening of some old monster movie. It looks incredibly fake by today's standards, but that's part of what makes it charming. Hanji softly giggles whenever the monster pops up. "Ugly ass bitch..." She whispers. As you're munching away on your popcorn you suddenly feel someone else's hand on yours. You look to your side and see that Moblit has placed his hand on yours. His eyes are fixed on the screen. He must have laid his hand on the arm rest without noticing your hand was already there.

You pull your hand out from underneath his and place it in your lap, thinking nothing of it as you look at the screen again. But Moblit quickly moves his hand back over to yours and holds it again. You raise an eyebrow as you look at him. "What are you doing?" You whisper as not to disturb the other people around you.

Moblit leans a little closer to you. "I thought you might be scared so I decided to hold your hand. Do you not like it?" He asks. You wriggle your hand out of his. "Oh..." He says, almost sounding a little dissapointed. You decide to not pay Moblit any mind. He's always been very caring for his friends, you and Hanji especially. You brush what just happened off as just him being Mama Moblit again.

Not much later the movie pauses and the lights turn on. Erwin stretches his arms above his head and groans. "I need to get up and stretch my legs..." He mutters. "I'll go get some more snacks and drinks while I'm at it." He says as he stands up from his seat.
