Yandere Rico x reader (modern AU)

You slowly sip on your thermos flask of coffee as you try not to let your eyes fall shut. Streetlamp after streetlamp whizzes past as the car drives to it's destination. The sky is still dark and there's barely another car on the road. "Babe, do we have to do this so early?" You ask just before yawning loudly. "I'm barely awake, I'll look horrible. I don't want that to ruin your pictures." You say as you turn your head to the driver's seat in which your girlfriend sits.

Rico smiles and pushes her glasses a little higher up onto her nose as she turns her head to look at you for a moment. "That's what photoshop's for!" She says. You smile as you see wher whip her head back to focus on the road. You love how her white bob dances around her face whenever she moves. You've always loved that about her. "We're almost at the location. The sunrise should look beautiful over the field." Rico chuckles softly. "Not as beautiful as you, but it'll have to do."

You laugh softly. "Shut up, you cheesy fuck." You say before bringing the thermos flask back to your lips. You'll need the caffeine to stay awake during the shoot. It's not rare for Rico to pull you along for shoots at inconvenient times. When creativity strikes she must act on it immediately. Usually she'll want to capture the natural light at a certain time or from a certain place. You're used to modeling for her by now, you do it all the time. In fact, it's how you met. On a day at the beach she came running up to you with her camera, told you that she loved your look and asked if you would want to model for her. The pictures turned out great, but the bond you established that day turned out even greater. And now, a couple of years later, you're together and wouldn't want it any other way.

The day goes by like any other shoot day out in the field would. As the sun has risen too high and the light has changed, the shoot is over. Rico has brought breakfast and a picnic blanket. While she readies everything, you sit in the car which is parked on the edge of the field and scroll through the pictures on her camera. You always like to see the pictures she takes of you as soon as she's made them. "It's done, let's eat." Rico says. You turn off the camera and join her on the blanket in the grass. "Enjoy." Rico says with a small smile as she hands you a sandwich.

For some time you enjoy a quiet meal together. Untill you suddenly notice how a butterfly has landed on Rico's head. "Don't move!" You whisper as you quickly turn the camera back on. "Smile!" You whisper as you zoom in on Rico's head. She blushes and looks a little flustered. She is used to being the one taking pictures, not the one being taken pictures of. You laugh softly, she looks really cute like this.

The butterfly flies away and you hand the camera back to Rico. She smiles as she sees the picture you took. "That one's going with the others." She says. You know what she means. Rico saves all the pictures you take in a special box. No matter if they're good or not, no matter what you took a picture of, she saves every last one. "Hey, there's supposed to be a very photogenic old village nearby. Do you want to check it out?" Rico asks as she puts the camera away.

"Sure, I don't have any plans today." You say before biting into your sandwich. Rico smiles. "Will you be taking pictures of the village or of me?" You ask after swallowing your bite. You raise an eyebrow and smile cheekily. It's no secret that Rico loves taking pictures of you more than anything else.

"We'll see when we get there." Rico says with a smile. "Eat for now, I got up really early to prepare all this." She says as she gestures to the food still left on the picnic blanket. You quietly finish your breakfast while softly chatting. It's a damn near perfect morning. "Alright, let's pack up and get going!" Rico says as she claps once and jumps up. You quickly pack up all your stuff and get back in the car to set off again. "I heard the village is quite the hotspot for tourists, so I hope we can find some pretty backdrops that aren't too crowded." Rico says as she steers the car back onto the road.
