Yandere Marlo x reader

You groan in frustration and start pulling on your hair. "Fucking asshole...!" You mutter under your breath as you throw your head back and drop your hands to your sides. After taking a deep breath you look back in front of you and sigh. "Great to know that the top ten cadets get rewarded for their hard work with being thrown into the hands of a bunch of incompetent, corrupt, imbecile crooks." You say as you take a hold of the strap with which your rifle hangs around your shoulders.

Your friend, Hitch Dreyse, laughs softly as she pushes her hand on your back and makes you walk further along the canal. "Calm down, (y/n). Those are a lot of bad words with the letter C in it." She says as she wipes a lock of hair out of her face. "Besides, you don't want him to hear you talking about him like that, unless you want punishment. We're rookies, he's our superior. It's not like we can change anything about the way things go around here. You and Marlo really need to calm down with this righteousness bullshit." Hitch says. She laughs softly and tilts her head as she looks at you. "Typical that you and Marlo ended up becoming a couple in training. It's almost like you two knew that you both were going to be so upset with the military police brigade."

You stomp Hitch's shoulder and sigh. "Shut your face or I'm going to whip out some more bad words with the letter C in it." You say. Hitch simply laughs. You smile as well as you shake your head. "Even if you don't agree with me and Marlo, you have to admit that that guy was an asshole." You say as you wipe the smile from your face. "He was clearly violating rules, and then he threatened to beat me up if I told anyone. It's ridiculous how higher-ups can get away with shit like that in bright daylight." You mutter under your breath. Then you sigh and take a deep breath. "No use getting all worked up because of it now, let's just finish this patrol and get back to headquarters." You say.

Later that same day you're hanging out in Hitch's room untill it is time to have dinner. "(Y/n), what do you see in Marlo? I honestly don't get it." Hitch says as she fixes her hair in the mirror. She slowly brushes her hair and turns her head to look at you, sitting in the windowsil. "How did you two even become a thing?" She asks.

You think back to your days as trainees. "We always got along quite well, ever since our first days. We were both dead set on joining the military police after all." You say as you stare out the window. Hitch continues to brush her hair as she listens to you. "I actually liked another guy before I started to catch feelings for Marlo. But then he got into that freak ODM gear accident and had to be sent off to the nearest hospital. Since it took so long for him to recover, my feelings for him were pushed aside by those I had for Marlo. We get along great and love each other's company. Sometimes that's all you need." You say softly.

The door opens and a blonde girl walks in. Your eyes meet and she groans. "Hitch, I don't like you bringing your friends over to our room." She says annoyed as she closes the door behind her. You sigh and shake your head. Annie Leonhart is Hitch's room mate, and not a very fun person to be around. You feel a little sorry for Hitch. But not enough to do or say something about it. "Please, can you just hang out somewhere else from now on?" Annie asks as she sits down on her bed.

"Don't worry, I'll leave." You say as you stand up and walk to the door. "I'll see you at dinner." You say to Hitch before leaving the room. As you turn around after closing the door, you bump into someone. "Oh, sorry I didn't see- Oh, Marlo!" You instantly smile as you see the face of your boyfriend. Marlo smiles back at you and embraces you lovingly, giving you a tight hug. "How was your patrol?" You ask as you push yourself away from him a little.

Marlo shrugs. "Fine. Even though I'd love to be on patrol with you again soon. I miss you when we're apart all day." He says as he wipes a lock of hair out of your face and cups your cheek. Then he places a gentle kiss on your forehead and takes your hand in his. "Let's go to the mess hall, we can wait there untill dinner is ready." He says. You nod and start to walk down the hallways, hand in hand with Marlo. Just a little while later you sit at your usual table. "How was your patrol, did anything interesting happen?" Marlo asks.
