Chapter 18 [Remembrance]

Headmistress/Azula's POV

We were on our way back to our guild hall and I would be lying to say I wasn't the slightest bit of anxious. Apparently Sherina also going by the wicked witch of the west but as I prefer to call her the wicked bitch of the west could sense some magic coming from the guild hall. (I swear if I find out that Akali let (y/n) escape I'm going to make her suffer. Does she understand how much time it took to finally get her behavior under control, it didn't just took hours or days it took years upon years. Does she understand what I could've done with that time, I could be conquering a whole world, if not a universe with that precious ring of her's. Oh well, that Omega wouldn't dare try to defy me she knows the consequences of what happened to the others, especially Azura. She wouldn't want to end up like her not what she? She knows better.)

I felt a hand lightly tap my shoulder to see Helena the succubus smile she pulled me back a little. As the others continue to walk further ahead she began to ask questions. I'm not usually one to answer questions but I decide to let this one time slide. After all, out of everyone here I would most certainly say I have the strongest bond with Helena. Though some of these questions seem to be very much unrelated to our main topic at hand I still did enjoy a little bit of her company.

"Azula dear if I may ask you another thing?" I simply nodded stating for her to continue. "Well no offense but you're not really the one to take a liking to other Omega's, you most of the time tend to throw them away or worse kill them. It's not like I have a problem with it, I mean it's not my life. Besides I do enjoy a good bit of blood shed..." (Is she trying to sugarcoat this conversation, or maybe she thinks that I can't control myself like (y/n) could. If she dares to challenge me or even somewhat looks at me the wrong way I will.....No I won't. At least I can't do that now.)

"What is the point of this conversation?" I asked much more bluntly then usual.

"I was going to get to the point you interrupted me." I snarl in return

"Well then hurry up maybe if you were taking so long this would be an easier question for me to answer and you wouldn't be wasting both me and your time." My tone seemed to saddened her but she quickly changed it to a more neutral look.

"As I was saying," She took a deep breath. "Normally you wouldn't care for an Omega's life. But this (y/n) girl seems to have your attention at all times. You seemed to have taken a liking to her, why are you trying to help her?" This seem to strike a small nerve.

"I don't care for her as much as you think I do. I simply want to see if there will be a change in things. Sometimes seeing the same things get done becomes boring, but in this case of scenarios I want to see if she will be able to crawl her way out of Hell's fingertips. If I'm being honest I don't think she's going to pass, whether she does happen to make a good statement or point she's most likely going to fail especially with Rex and Lee going against them no one survived or surpass their points of views." I smirked to myself.

"Except for you," My smile began to fade. "Everyone knows that technically speaking before your sister Azura came, you were the only other person besides her who was able to change other peoples minds or at least threaten them too. Which reminds me two hours before we get to the hall you killed your sister, why was that? You seem to be the most loyal to her. I mean she was your twin, after all your parents loved you both equally and you were raised fairly to each other. Why would you take the opportunity to kill her like that."

"Why the hell is it any of your business? Is it because you still have feelings for her? Or maybe her death is causing you to lose the edge of your blade, I certainly hope not because then I'd have to take, care of you myself. This conversation is hereby over." I excused myself from her and any other one that you have for the future. I walked forward catching up with the others but it seems as if I notice something out of the corner of my eye the look of sadness from Vixen which puzzled me slightly. Vixen is known for being one of the most rigid and most cruel towards werewolves especially Omega's. It makes me a little confused to see her act like this. The whole point of this plan was to get her to be the first to vote (y/n) out. I want to see a change in the system but not a change in one's heart, I do hope that she's not getting soft because if that's the case we might need to have a little chitchat later.
