I ran throughout all of the halls, it's been five complete minutes and I still couldn't figure out where Valentine was. It was way too confusing with all the different scents around so I couldn't just sniff her out like I did with Veronica. Veronica sent is a lot more dominating than the others it's not really hard to notice her unlike the rest, no wonder why she was chosen to be a queen.

I decided to speed up my pace knowing that if I didn't hurry up Valentine might be a lot more upset then before. I really should've said something to Leo but what was I going to say? Leo would have probably just ignored me anyways like always. But still I should've at least said something! Well there's nothing I can do by complaining and doubting myself I need to find her and apologize, well at least try to apologize. Who knows maybe she's a lot more forgiving when she acts. I noticed a small glimpse of a wing out of the corner of my eye.

I quickly ran towards the wing in hopes that I would find it small girl. But as I ran around the corner a door almost slammed into my face. "Valentine?" There was no answer. "Sweetheart are you there? I'm really sorry about Leo he didn't mean it...okay he did but still I bet he's really sorry...okay well maybe not sorry but you know where I'm getting at." (God damn I'm really terrible at apologizing. Hopefully she leaves understand what I'm saying because not even I do. If anything I'm probably just making the situation more horrible than it was before.)

I know I should probably mine this privacy but I was really worried about the girls health so I gently placed my ear near the door. I heard something quietly being opened, like a window. (Wait a minute? Wait a damn minute? Shit is he trying to run away?! Child if this was me I would've gotten my ass beat. Wait I'm worried about the wrong thing right now I need to go after her!) Me and Veronica already had a conversation about this her force is filled with deadly plants and even cursed monsters. And the worst part about all of this is that if she goes too far out she'll venture into werewolf territory. (Fuck it I'm breaking down the door.) I took a few steps back then quickly charged at the door, breaking not only the door but most likely my arm as well.

I looked around the beautifully dressed room but noticed that Valentine was nowhere to be found and the only thing I could think of was the open window next to her bed. I heard leafs crunching from the outside of the castle. It was obvious that even if I wanted to catch up with her I was still going to be late, Valentine is a vampire she has super speed and endurance. I may have the endurance but I still don't have the speed to match up with her's. I'm lucky that I am technically speaking a dog, I have decent chance of finding her right now. If I can't track where she's going to be by the noise she makes then I can track her by scent. I should be fine now there are way less scents here then there were in the castle.

I heard the lights sound of tree branches cracking coming from my left I decided to run towards it completely ignoring the pathway that was on the other side. As soon as I reached Valentine she was on top of a tree that didn't look as sturdy compared to the other ones around it, it was clearly dying and very dangerous to be climbing. As it looked further down I noticed icy looking flowers underneath her. (Wait? Those flowers look familiar, haven't I read about them? Icy red with beautiful white spines? Oh shoot!)

"Valentine get down from there now!" The young vampire looked at me with a glare.

"Don't tell me what to do!" She leaned forward making me wince in fear. "You're not my dad!" I small frown was evident on my face, I wasn't that bothered by her insults, I was just bothered by the recklessness from her. It's obvious she's in going to be in a lot of danger if she doesn't come down, not to mention that tree branch is obviously going to fall even a child would know not to be around it. Those flowers are draining the life of that poor tree. And if she falls into them let's just say it's going to be quite the explosive ending.
