Chapter 32 [Cuts and Bruising]

"V-Valentine?" Me, Kai'sa, and Veronica mumbled underneath our breath causing her to stop.

"I'm sorry do the three of you know each her?" I heard Phoenix's voice speak up.

"S-She's my-..." Not knowing what came over me I quickly interrupted Veronica and took her line. (You had to open your mouth dumb-ass, didn't you? Now look at the trouble we're in. Thanks to your bullshit we have successfully fucked up yet again. I hope you're proud of yourself because now we've dug ourselves yet another deep grave. But on the bright side our child is safer with me right now. I hope I didn't dig us a deeper grave.)

"Mom~" Valentine shook slightly while moving her way to me. She quietly latches onto my leg as tears began to sprout from her eyes. "I want to go home mommy, their scary." Valentine was latched onto my leg like a parasitic leach. While there was clearly no cha.

"Mommy!?" Everyone shouted in shock, through Kai'sa and Veronica just stood silently.

"You have a kid..." Phoenix said somewhat sadly.

"Well yeah~, but I've only been her mother for a few days." I softly whispered.

"Is she~....you know~......Adopted?" Lee butt in.

"NO JERK!" Valentine hissed at him. "IF YOU WANNA FIGHT JUST SAY THAT YOU OVERGROWN LEPRECHAUN!" I slightly gasped at Valentine after noticing Lee readying his weapon.

"Why you little." As Lee walked forward and went to grab her away from me I felt a horrible wave of fear with anger.

"Back.The Hell.Off..." I growled at the short Viking man earning a shivers from his spine. "If you even so happen to lay a hand on my daughter you won't have a hand to use." I protectively moved Valentine away from them afterwards bringing us to a nearby corner in the room.

"S-Sorry," I heard Lee mumble underneath his breath as Leo growled at him. Once I was sure everyone was no longer paying attention I began to speak with Valentine.

"Val, you shouldn't talk to adults or people of rank as such. They are not to be messed with. You of all people should know that by now." I sighed realizing the genuine feeling of regret and sadness I felt when she began to tear up.

"Sorry mom," Valentine tried to wipe her tears but more came into place.

"Hey...Hey," I softly whispered. "Theres no need for that. You are way to strong and confident to be crying. So stop crying, please?" I gently patted Valentine's head causing her wings slightly popped up. "Look at how cute your wings are." I gently poked her cheek. Valentine glared at me.

"Not as pretty as my mommy's ears!" She swiftly tackled me into a hug.

"Oh my you're going to knock me down, don't kill me." I giggled as she playfully tried to squeeze me. As the two of us were playfully boop-ing one another's noses we failed to notice the Headmistress coming towards us.

"(Y/n)?" She said filled with a slight since of disappointment, though I tried to ignore it. She motioned towards the door and I humbly nodded understanding what she met. "And, bring the girl please." After exuding ourselves into the halls she sighed silently to herself. "Do you understand why I just brought you here?" My ears flattened as I nodded. Azula sadly sighed at me. "Where is her father?"

"O-Oh umm~,"

"HA! Jokes on you lady, my mommy is gayer then gay can get." [I-....She's not wrong.] (Shut the fuck up.) [Noo~]

"V-Valentine~...no! She does not need to know that, that is private information!" For some reason Headmistress let out a somewhat pleased sign from her comment confusing me. "Now to things of more importance, I know nothing of her father and personally~, I-....." I looked down at Valentine. She was slowly starting to fall asleep against my leg. Ever so gently she held onto my leg but with a tight grip. I tenderly removed her arms from my leg. Valentine's eyes that we're previously closed were now trying to hold themselves open but were failing to do so. "Sweetheart~," I quietly whispered. "If you were tired you should have told me. You know I'd carry you or at least give you a piggyback ride." As gently as possible I picked up the young girl from the ground and helped her rest head on my shoulder. Valentine yawned indicating she was most likely going to fall back asleep. However the Headmistress smiled and chuckled at this.
