[I just want you guys to know something because this just happened to my best friend who was writing a book. If you ever and I mean I see anyone ever have the audacity to come and comment on my book about a spelling error or a grammar error I will personally and purposely not update a chapter of my damn book for two whole seven months.]

Valentine's POV

After the really important conversation with the Ms. Azula and Alex I decided to look for another place to sleep since Ahri was comfortably laying in mom's spot. I didn't know what else to do so I walked over to Kai'sa and tried to tug at her sleeves. Luckily she began to stir slightly from her sleep. It took a moment for her to get up but once she did she immediately jumped from her spot. "W-Wait where were you?" I quietly tilted my head to the side and gazed to sit next to her. Ms. Kai'sa seemed to understand what I wanted and scooted over over so I had room to sit in between her and mom. "Next time if you need something you should tell me so I can get it, okay?" I quietly bowed my head in agreement and began to lean against my mother.

She twitched in her sleep for a moment but in the end she protectively wrapped her arms around me. Kai'sa gently patted my head and moved my mother's wing so it would cover me like a blanket. Peaceful I closed my eyes hoping I would be able to spend more time with my new mom (y/n). (I hope momma's okay. The tall scary lady said she might be asleep for a while.)

(A few minutes before Valentine left)

"Is my mommy okay?" I walked over to my mom's unconscious form. Of course she was breathing but I doubted she was getting as much care as she needed. "She's just sleeping right?" I softly hugged my mom's sleeping form. (Maybe she was tired, yeah that's it.)

"Yes in fact I believe in a few days she will be able to have a full conversation with you. That is if no one interrupts her resting period." The White haired lady spoke softly to me. (Ms. Azula is her name, right?)

"You sure? She had it pretty rough back there. If you ask me I think this is a half-and-half deal. It's a tough call to say that considering your precious Omega is looking like she might not be coming back. Those injuries looked pretty serious. Just imagine putting her in the Tournament of Power without a Mate boost or bond. She'd be creamed, destroyed, incinerated." Somehow the words she were saying didn't seem to be connecting themselves to me.

"W-What?" (But mom can fight, she was probably just holding back right? Yeah! My momma's the strongest Demon here!) Somehow the confusion found itself changing to confidence. I was to proud of my mom to let some stupid lady talk down to her. And the more I thought about it I began to smile. I had amazing mother's who no one could complete with. (Y/n) was right I really was lucky.

"Wipe that damn smile off your face. Hasn't anyone ever taught you that Demons can die?" (Die?) "I highly doubt your mom will live past the first round." (That's a strange way to word a sentence.) "Your mom is weak, she is clearly not strong enough to be a Demon Counselor so I don't see why you guys bother with such a pathetic excuse of a Mot-...protecter." (She was going to say mother wasn't she?)

"Phoenix~...." Ms. Alex growled at the taller woman. While I struggled to comprehend words I didn't seem to know with my anger rising.

"D-.....Die?" I gently released my mom from my hug. "What's a Die?" I took a moment to think about what my Mom taught me so far. "It's like paint right?" Ms. Alex quickly covered her mouth confusing me. I tilted my head in confusion feeling slightly dumb. "Was I wrong?" I quietly whispered to the scary tall white haired lady. She sighed but as she opened her mouth she was interrupted by Phoenix.
