Chapter 30 [⚠️Apologies⚠️]

I sighed taking a deep breath. Me and Veronica were currently making our way back to our room. It was clear that I wasn't in a good mood from my incident with Ahri and the rest of the council members especially after Evelynn got so close to me. I mean it's not like I have an issue with it but-

"(Y/n)?" Veronica spoke up ending our ring of silence.

"M-Ma'am?" I mentally cursed after I realized what I had said.

"It's worse than I thought, if they keep this up they'll break your mind as well as your mind-." Veronica quickly realized what she was saying and stopped herself just in time. "L-...I'm sorry, I shouldn't think of you like this, it clearly you're a very strong Demon. And-"

"Define strong," I softly hissed

"To possess the skills and-"

That's not what I mean," I felt bad for interrupting her but I needed to finish. "I- do you remember earlier today when you used your pheromones on me?" Veronica nodded.

"Yeah they didn't really have to much of an effect but it was only because you were in a emotional state." I almost immediately stopped in my tracks.

"W-Wait what?" I began to glare at her.

"How do I explain to." Veronica walked towards me and sighed gently placed her hand "My pheromones are like you're heat trait. I knew I wouldn't be able to control you with them but I was upset and still wanted to try. But now that I think about it that would have been a terrible thing to do to you...I'm sorry." I gently nuzzled my lover whilst softly smiling.

"It's okay I should have been more attentive," I gently placed a kiss on her cheek afterwards giggling. "So if I wasn't feeling sad you would have probably been able to control me?"

"Not probably, most definitely." She jokingly smirked.

"Oh~"

"But more importantly I'd like to apologize on Ahri's behalf." My grip around her loosen out of shock. Veronica swiftly took this opportunity to remove herself from me causing me to whine.

"B-But you didn't do anything." I tried to get close to her but she only moved away.

"That's the point, I shouldn't have let you get so close to her knowing your sensitive." We stood still in silence until I decided to try to comfort her. I quietly made my way over to the Queen but just as she was about to move I gently cuffed her face. I tried to make eye contact with but it didn't really seem to help since she kept avoiding it. (Veronica can't make eye contact with me? Ahri must have really taken a toll off of her.) "I'm still pissed off she yelled out you like that not to mention she had the audacity to get so close to you and treat you as if you're some type of maid."

"Truthfully if there's anyone to blame here I'd say it's myself, I should've known better then to get close to her especially after-" I swiftly caught myself as the memories of Leo and Max's club came back.

"After?" Veronica questioned most likely understanding where I was getting at.

"Nothing~" I was trying to force myself to forget but unluckily Veronica caught on.

"What do you mean nothing?" Veronica took a few seconds to think before she finally realized what I was getting at. "Oh, the club incident, am I right?" I slowly nodded my head. Vixen only returned a sigh before she continue to walk mumbling something about abusing a fox. I tried to quickly catch up with her not wanting to be left behind. As we were walking we bumped into a old friend or should I say a new friend?

"Seraphine!?" I quickly jumped into the arms of the young girl. (She seemed really happy to see the two of us but I can't help but feel slightly sad. Violet said some pretty fucked up things back there. Of course it's not my duty nor right as an Omega and as a Demon to have a say in what she chooses to do with her servants and lower ranks, but still she shouldn't treat her like a personal pet. Things like that really piss me off.)
