Chapter 22 [Potion Studies]

If it is a lemon this chapter might have taken a lot longer than it probably should have and I'll make the next chapter longer to discipline myself and also make you guys happy.]

After a while of conversing with Vixen or Veronica to be more specific we (or I should say she.) decided to sleep a few days over until feeling otherwise. She said we should invite Kai'sa over as well which confused me but I guess Alpha's and higher ranks stay connected with each other. But the question I want answered the most is why Kai'sa of all Demons? And why put me in another room with another Alpha? Maybe it makes a lot more sense then I know of, to be honest I'm probably just being really stupid. I know I'm not always the brightest of the bunch.

I let go of a rather disappointing sign, more louder than I would have wanted. This caused l Hopps to stare. "Is everything all right? Well other then the bat currently attaching itself to your bedroom ceiling and taking a long nap." I chuckle at the female rabbit's response.

"No and yes, Darling. It's more confusing than I'd like for it to be. I just...I need a minute to think." Hopps jumped from the small makeshift bed on my dress to the floor causing me to jump.

"HOPPS!" I was trying to keep my voice to a whisper but it came out a little louder then I would have preferred.

"Yeah?" She responded as if nothing happened.

"Hopps...You're killing me, you're literally going to give me a heart attack if you keep jumping off of things like that. Do you not know that your bones are literally the size of a pencil? Sweetheart if you're not careful you're going to wind up hurting yourself." Hopps stood on her two hind paw and tried to shrug at me.

"You know (Y/n), that is the exact same thing that my parents said to me before they died." She smiles.

My jaw immediately dropped. "I'm sorry please forgive me for my language but what the actual fuck!? Why would you say something like that, better yet why the fuck would you bring something up like that?!"

"Yep, I was expecting you to say something like that. You know I find it funny that every time someone tries to worry about my mental and physical health they end up like Tanjiro's family, so if I were you I'd stop bringing up things like this because the people who do always either end up dying or just lying on the floor pretending to be dead." I eyeball the rabbit in shock but was trying also not to laugh at the same time.

"Hopps, sweetheart I don't think they were faking..." A eerie silence came upon the two of us.

"Oh....Well sucks to be them I guess." I looked at her with blatant disrespect.

"Hopps those people are dead!" She looked at me confused.

"And how is my problem?" I looked at her slightly traumatized by what she said.

"I mean...technically it's not but sweetheart their dead!" We looked at each other for a few seconds but after a while it was interrupted by Hopps' stomach growling.

"See all this arguing has gotten me hungry, I don't have the time for this."

I watched as she hopped her way over to the door and left me with the Veronica. "You've been around Leo and Dax way too fucking much." I lightly grumbled. When Hobbs had left me and Veronica alone I decided to wake up Veronica to see if she was hungry as well I gently poke her head around in hopes that she would wake up quickly. Once she did her wings that were gently wrapped around her covering her face were slowly moved. As her golden eyes clung onto the luminescent room.
