Chapter 31 [Little Time, Yet Much to Solve]

[Later on in the book you have to choose outfit and because I'm kind of rushing this chapter I just want to say a lot of things are going to be more confusing than they should be. For example when it comes to picking outfits Veronica is wearing the purple and black one up top and you can choose between the black and red or blue one.] - Author Chan~

My eyes gently blinked as I begin to look around our room. (I was expecting Vixen to wake me up but I she's still asleep.) It took a moment for me to finally decide to get out of bed but when I did I was quickly pulled right back down causing me to groan. I looked down and realized Vixen....,well now Veronica was still inside of me fast asleep. (I guess they swapped when we were asleep by accident.) I quietly ran my fingers through her hair feeling for any tangles I the process. (I should probably wake her up, but~ she looks so cute.) I could help but blush.

"Darling please wake up," I seemed as if she was trying to ignore me. I whined out to her gently nudging her. "Can you please at least pull out so we can get dressed for today."

"No..." She groaned still tired.

"But what about our meet up?" Veronica tenderly nuzzled into my neck, sighing afterwards.

"Well it must suck that I don't care. I~, as your future wife, should get my time with you too. You're my wife therefore this is our time, just like how this is our bed, our palace and our family." I blushed slightly at her comments. She knew I wouldn't dare to argue with her especially when it came to our kids. Even if they technically didn't count me as their mother, well at least a few of them did, I still cared enough for them. As I stared lovingly at her deep in thought I looked at the clock on the right side of the room I realized we had another few minutes until we needed to get up. (We should get up we only have a few minutes before the council and team K/DA show.)

"This is the third time," I heard Veronica mumble. My ears squished themselves as I immediately understanding what she meant by that. I never did spend a lot of time with Veronica compared to Vixen. If I'm being honest I'm pretty sure I've spent more time with Seraphine than her.

"Sweetheart?" I mumbled quietly.

"S-Sweetheart?" Veronica blush and tried to look away but I quickly pulled her closer to me.

"Can we cuddle a bit longer?" I softly asked trying not to ruin our moods.

"I-Yes! I mean s-sure or whatever." I giggled at her soft side. (I've never seen her so happy before it's actually quite cute.) Lightly I nuzzled into her neck feeling the small ache leave from my heart.

"Thank you, Veronica." We both continued to cuddle for a little longer hoping no one would interrupted. While we were cuddling I silently picked up a book from the lamp desk next to me to read. Unintentionally and without notice I sympathetically began to running my fingers though her hair quickly forcing her into her less talkative self. While I was reading. Veronica like me began to get drowsy, mistakenly falling back to sleep with her fangs out and against my neck. Veronica didn't seem like she was waking back up. (It's most likely a part of being nocturnal. Poor Darling has been overwhelming herself ever since my heat. I honestly owe her and Kai'sa so much for protecting me.) I gently placed my book where it belonged, afterwards quietly laughing at my affectionate girlfriend on my waist. She looked so cute like this there was no way I could wake her up. Not realizing how much time was passing I was beginning to drift off as well.

I woke up to the sound of gentle knocking against my door. Softly I nudged Veronica who simply tried to ignore me by turning the opposite direction. I sighed knowing that there was only one other way out of this. [Actually there was like, *counts finger* Fifty seven more ways.]- Author Chan I gently rubbed my hand upward though her hair, softly taking a handful of her hair before roughly tugging at her hair earning a low moan from Veronica. Luckily her face was buried into my neck so she couldn't release anything louder. As the person outside hesitantly knocked again Veronica quickly answered it while glaring at me.
