(Congenital Insensitivity to Pain, aka CIP, is the inability to feel pain. People who have this condition aren't able to feel physical pain. This lack of pain and cause health issues that could effect someone's lifespan)
Waka and Hai observed the conditions of the room. "Sir, what happened?" The pink eyed woman questioned.
"Haishiko," the sudden order startled the purple haired woman. "I don't have patience for this. I need to go check on Lord Orochimaru, and I need you to look after her." The named woman rushed over and took the unconscious girl from his arms.
"What happened to her?"
"I'm not sure." Kabuto stood up quickly, wincing from the burns. "Both of you make sure she stays asleep and her chakra levels stay even. As do her vitals. If either of them change, come to get me immediately." He rushed out of the room. Waka looked at where her superior previously stood.
"What are we going to do?" Hai questioned, holding onto the Akiko.
"I don't know." The blue-haired woman put both hands on her forehead, trying to rack her brain. Nothing came up. She was used to dealing with dead bodies and dead things. How the hell was she supposed to deal with a kid, who she felt some kind of motherly instinct for, who can't control her own abilities!? "Let's just get her someplace comfortable and think of something." That was the only thing she could think of at the moment.

Kabuto had to remind himself to stay clam as he made his way to Orochimaru, even though he thoughts ran wild. One thought was that she had been latched onto Naruto from the fight, but he highly doubted it. If she was, more than just her arms would be hurting. The same with Tsunade or Jiraiya. But why would she latch onto them? The only option would be their master. It was the only thing that could made her feel something a painful as that.
But she healed his arms. She said that he would be fine until Sasuke arrived. That didn't stop the horrid feeling that something much worse was going on.
His swarming thought made the journey to his master pass by quickly. As he arrived at his room, something immediately felt off. A shout echoing in the room made him rush in. His eyes widened at Orochimaru's state.
The man sat hunched over in his bed, his arms held out in front of him. They were unwrapped and purple, like the outermost layer of skin was decaying and slowly killing the man. He noticed Kabuto's arrival and glared at him "Where is she!?"
"Akiko?" Her name left his mouth without his permission.
"Who else! Where!?"
"With Haishiko and Kito."
"Why?"
"That's not what's important right now! You should be more worried about yourself right now, Lord Orochimaru. Your arms... what happened the healing she did?!"
"That's what I would like to know. Damn him!" He coughed, spraying blood across his bed.
"I believe Akiko locked into you when the healing was destroyed. She felt some of the repercussion of it."
"I told her not to heal me. Foolish child..! Leave me. I want to see her tonight, Kabuto."
"Yes, Lord Orochimaru." The medic nodded. "I'll make you some medicine to help with the pain. And please, do take it." He left the room, shutting the door gently behind him. He resisted the urge to punch a wall. He made his way through the halls before he Waka rushing towards him. "What's wrong?!"
"It's the girl. She... you have to..." she quickly turned around, walking back the way she came. The ash-haired boy noticed the blood dripping from the arm hidden from him.
"Kito," she turned to face him. "What happened?" She looked off to the side.
"She just woke up, screaming in pain. Like-like she was being killed from the inside. Hai was next to her when she woke up. She jumped away though." She started to walk as she spoke. "I tried to calm her down. I told her that she was safe and that you'd be back. This big arm came out of her chest and attacked me. I don't think it got me. But I don't feel pain. So, I could have gotten hurt. Hai... wasn't so lucky though. It got her shoulder. She-she's bleeding out everywhere-"
She was cut off by Kabuto grabbing her right shoulder and made her face him. He tugged on her wrist and checked her arm. It was easy with her sleeveless shirt. Four long scratches ran the length of her arm, stopping in the middle of her forearm. They weren't too deep, but they would scar up nicely. "Let's get this healed up." If Waka didn't know any better, she would have thought he cared. But she knew better, and he didn't. "I can't have you passing out from blood loss while you help me." He made her lean on one of the walls for support so he could heal her.
"What about the girl-"
"Akiko," he corrected with a glare. His chakra flared to life as he began to heal each scratch at a time.
"What about Akiko? Aren't you worried about her?"
"Of course I am," he shook his head at the stupidness of the question. "That's why I'm doing this. What happening with her right now is out of my control. All I can do is sit back, and help where I can." Waka's blood ran down her arm and onto Kabuto's hands. But he paid it no mind. "I don't like seeing her hurt. Especially if I don't know what's going on. She's a unique sensory type that locks onto people. She feels what they feel, whether that be pain or love."
Waka let out a chuckle. "You're not as horrible as they say. I had heard stories of Orochimaru's right-hand. Stories about you being ruthless, and cold-hearted. But a girl manages to make you grow a soft side."
"You sound like you've been there."
"I have. Everyone in my home village was killed and the village was destroyed. I was left alone. I traveled to another village where an old man took me in. He was nice, and a retired shinobi. He taught me to survive in the wild, and how to defend myself. His daughter was skilled in medical ninjutsu, and she taught me how to use it. The old man's granddaughter is Hai." Kabuto looked at the turn of events. "I never thought I would love anyone after my village. But then I met her. We got close over the next month. Her village was ultimately destroyed after everyone was killed.
"Why are you telling me this? What could I gain from knowing about where you and your lover come from?"
"I just want to prove that I'm useful, I suppose."
A light went off in the medic's head. "I might have an idea how you can be useful. Since you were taught by a medical specialist, I'm assuming you know your way around medical plants."
"Yeah. I enjoy gardening, actually." She chuckled, interrupting Kabuto's healing. He grabbed her wrist, moving her arm back to where it had been.
"If you move, this will take longer. Which means your lover might be dead from blood loss, and mine would be in more pain. She may exhaust her chakra and die as well. And if that happens, you're life won't be over quickly." Waka yanked her arms out of his grip and rushed down the hall.
"Then why are we just standing here talking?!" She pointed at the end of the hall, her voice growing louder. "You think I want my Hai dead!? Orochimaru had promised us a child for working for him. I'm not a violent person. I'd much rather help people! That includes that girl of yours. I don't want her to die, believe me. She's just a child. A child who has too much power in her body, but is too weak-"
Kabuto suddenly pinned her to the ground, knocking the air out of her. "She is stronger than you could ever imagine. Don't look down on her just because she's young." he pressed his knee into her spine. "Don't call her weak! Do you understand?" He made his point known so he got off of her.
His eyes narrowed at the woman as she stood up. He didn't care that she was older than him, she was still weaker. The halls suddenly began to shake, a scream echoing the corridor. He instantly recognized it, though he wasn't happy that he did.
"Is that..?"
"Yeah. Kito, listen to me; I'll calm down Akiko while you get Haishiko away from her. Bring her to my lab with Kimimaro. Stop her from dying."
