"That's enough!!" Naruto shouted. His chakra spiked as he begun to form a sphere in the palm of his left hand. He tired to attack Kabuto, who easily ducked out of the way and slipped past.

Kabuto's right hand sparked to life and he touched Naruto's right hand. 'Don't know what kind of jutsu you've learned, but you'll never hit me with a big motion like that.' He looked over at Akiko. Her eyes warned him, more like begged him, not to touch her brother. The chakra around her hands showed how she was getting close to losing control. He had to think logically about this to prevent her from losing control. He couldn't hurt Naruto and get away with it. But he couldn't leave the boy alone. In the end, it would be up to Naruto if he got hurt anymore or not.

The blonde boy grunted in pain as he tried to stand. "Hmm, it seems that as a result of your fight with the snake, your left femur was fractured. If it were only the bone you'd still be able to move. But not now, because I cut the lateral vastus muscle in that leg." The boy's left eye closed as he winced. Pain filled his entire left leg. "Are you scared? Do you wanna run away?" Kabuto pulled out Naruto's information card. "Remember what you said with such bravado at the first test of the chunin exma? 'Never underestimate me. I don't quit, and I don't run away. I'll accept your stupid question!! Even if I end up being a rookie for the rest of my life. I'll become Hokage, even if I can make it by pure stubbornness. I don't care!! I'm not afraid of you!!' Even now, do you still feel so brave?" He was trying to make him mad. He was successful in his objective, but he also managed to anger Akiko. Karma's chakra formed hardened claws as her anger grew.

"Don't push it, Kabuto." She growled.

He gave her a look before facing the blonde again. "You're not a kid anymore, so better cut the bravado. Based on the situation, when you want to give up and run away. Just do it." He words gained a glare from the pair of siblings. Deep down, Akiko knew he was right. But she also knew her brother wasn't one to back down easily. "Now, now, what's that look for? You're going to die!" He felt a surge of chakra coming at him, but it wasn't from Naruto. He dodged the attack and pinned his girlfriend on the ground. He made sure not to touch Karma's claws as he pinned her hands to her back. "If you die, you won't have dreams or anything else. What's worse us you'll leave your dear sister behind."

"Let go of her!" Naruto shouted, more angry than he was scared. He didn't know, or understand, why she was there. And why she was helping them. But he knew he'd bring her back to the village one way or another.

"Kids think everything is easy. That's why they go on their stupid dreams. Why they don't give up." He stood up, bringing Akiko with him. She glared at him, aiming a bite to his neck. He moved away and gripped her jaw, bringing her face closer to his. He has her as his mercy.

"Don't you have dreams!?" The blondes question took Kabuto off guard for a moment.

"Of course I do." He released the female before kissing her forehead, silently apologizing to her. He walked over to Naruto as the boy stood up.

"I never go back on my word. That's my shinobi way!"

Kabuto hit the boy over to Tsunade. 'Why don't you just stay down!? I don't want to kill you!!' A clone appeared beside him. The older teen sighed, pulling out a kunai. "I told you, that kind of stubbornness will get you killed!!" He shouted, attacking.

Naruto ignored Tsunade's shout as he waited for the hit. Kabuto's kunai pierced his left hand, but he didn't stop there. He pushed the blade deeper into his hand, grabbing onto the hand controlling the weapon. "No way. Until I become Hokage, there's no way I'm gonna die!!" Onyx eyes widened at his words. "Now, you can't escape." Bright blue glared at the older boy as his grip tightened. Blue began to gather in his free as a clone poured its chakra into the real him.

'Is that the same move as last time?! No!' A bead of sweat rolled down Kabuto's cheek, worry settling in his stomach. It was like the last move yet different at the same time. Much different. The chakra sphere struck his stomach. He reached forward, touching Naruto's chest. The force of the jutsu sent the older teen flying back into a large boulder.

Akiko suddenly collapsed to the ground, coughing up blood. It felt like her stomach itself was pierced. The only problem was that... she wasn't attacked. And Karma didn't attack her from the inside. She felt both Naruto and Kabuto's pain. The stomach pain come from her boyfriend, while the coughing up blood came from her brother. Her red eyes moved from her brother to the ash-haired male.

Kabuto managed to pick himself off the ground, his shirt and the cloth around his waist were shredded. The skin beneath was splotched red and dark-colored spots. His glasses were cracked as well. His eyes widened when she spotted Akiko on the ground with blood in front of her. He spotted Naruto next. He coughed up blood before collapsing.

"A hit from that level of jutsu, but you," Tsunade trailed off as she came to kneel beside the injured boy.

"I gathered my chakra in my stomach. Even before the jutsu hit me, I was already healing. I gained Lord Orochimaru's favor, not because of my instincts, but because of my recovery power." He wound began to heal as he spoke. "My ability to activate cells, and to reproduce them." He grunted before stumbling forward. 'Ugh! Though, it takes all my chakra to do.' His wound finished healing. "That jutsu seems like Naruto's last resort, but-" he tasted blood all of a sudden, some of the crimson liquid escaping from the side of his mouth. His legs shook before his collapsed. He heard his name being shouting, though he couldn't pinpoint where it came from.

Akiko wiped the blood off her mouth and stood up. The pain she felt was still there, but now she was able to stand it. She looked at her brother and watched as Tsunade began to heal him. Her eyes moved to Kabuto. Both boys looked like hell. Beaten, bleeding, dying or barely conscious. With a pained looked at her brother, she rushed over to her boyfriend. The blonde woman would heal her brother, she knew that. So she chose to take care of the ash-haired boy.

"I cut off his heart's chakra pathway system. The chakra network he heals himself with from the power of the Nine-Tails. I used everything I had to stop him from healing on his own." The black-eyed boy managed to get out as he fought off unconscious. Akiko placed her clawed hands on his back, the tips sinking into his skin. She muttered a soft 'sorry' and he grunted in pain.

"Shut up." Tsunade growled. "I'll kill you later." She was concentrated on healing the blonde boy to pay the other one any mind.

"Aki," she hummed, but didn't stop what she was doing. "Get out here."

She sunk her claws deeper into his back, earning a yelp of pain from him. He looked away, his right eye shut tight. "No. I'm not gonna let you die."

"I'm not going to die. But you need to leave."

"I said no. I can help, damnit!! Whether it be helping you or Lord Orochimaru, I will do so." She gave him a hard look, not backing down any time soon. She let Karma's chakra flow through her claws, healing Kabuto. He gasped out in pain as a burning sensation spread throughout his back and into the rest of his body. "The pain, is payback for hurting Naru."

"I didn't want to hurt him, Aki." Another groan left him.

"Your words, and your actions, say otherwise..!"

"I was willing to let him walk away, but he attacked me. So I did the same. An eye for an eye."

"You could have just dodged and attacked with your fists," she paused, the burning he felt growing hotter. "You didn't have to use a kunai, or your chakra."

"I'm sorry."

"You underestimated him. You have a habit of underestimating your opponents, Kabu. I told you-"

"One day, it's going to get me killed. I know, I know. You've told me before." He chuckled before coughing up blood. The burning left him, letting him breathe for a moment. He took every ounce of air he could get.

"Serves you right." She removed her claws, watching him as he stood up. He was still weak but he was able to, more or less, stand and walk. He pushed himself up and rested on his knees. The moment he tried to stand, his knees buckled. Akiko yelped before catching him. She tucked her legs under her and rested his head on her thighs. "As a medic, I thought you'd know you still need time to heal."

"Shut up..!" He grumbled, bringing one hand up to rest gently on her cheek. She smiled softly, running her fingers through his bangs. She leaned down, kissing his headband softly. Her head suddenly snapped up as blood invaded her nose.
