"If he stayed any longer, I'm pretty sure I would have attacked him." Kabuto's voice came out low as he glared at where the younger teen once was. "You didn't bite me." He turned around, his glare gone for now.
"I was going to, and I almost did. But, I suddenly felt off. Like we weren't alone anymore." Akiko glanced at the entrance while covering her breasts.
"Hey, don't do that." He grabbed her arms, trying to remove them. Her eyes turned red moments before her claws activated. She swiped at him in warning. He jumped back, landing on the rocks surrounding the pool.
"Leave my host alone, boy!" Karma spoke through the girl. "I won't hesitate to put you in your place!" The beast began to take over her human. She only let him do what he wanted because Akiko didn't sense anything bad coming off of him.
"I'm not going to hurt her, Karma." Kabuto held out his hands as he stood up. He knew she was stronger than him, much stronger. She was a Tailed Beast after all.
"You're actions speak differently."
"And here I thought we got along. Why are you so upset?"
"We did get along. Until you decided that it was smart to go after when she at her most vulnerable." She walked closer to him, her chakra covering her chest so she could use both hands instead of just one.
"I let my emotions control me. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt her."
"I thought you were able to control your emotions better."
"Usually, I am."
"Everyone has their limits, boy. I do, you do," she stepped away from him. "I've spent years watching over her, protecting her. I won't stop just because our living arrangements have changed. Don't act out again. Next time, I'll bring you to my domain and deal with you there. My way." She growled before retreating into her host. Akiko's eyes closed as she regained control.
"I'm sorry about her. What did she say?"
"Nothing you need to worry about. But she's not happy with me." The boy looked slightly nervous.
"Well, that was smart." Her tone reeked of sarcasm.
"Yes, well. It wasn't my intention."
"We have to go see Lord Orochimaru. Unless we want him mad at us."
It was his turn to be sarcastic. "Which sounds like fun." Akiko rolled her eyes before climbing out of the water. She walked over to the clothes he sent down and picked them up, mindful of his glasses. "Here." She held out his glasses, letting him have them back.
"Thanks." He put them on, giving her a smile. She nodded and turned around, getting dressed. Kabuto blinked a few times, doing the same with his own pile of clothes. "I didn't mean to be so rough, Aki. I'm sorry."
"It's not your fault. I'm partly to blame."
"And how is it your fault?"
"I provoked you."
"You didn't do it intentionally. So don't worry."
"Still."
"You're smart, you know that, right?" He chuckled, shaking his head.
"So I've been told." She chuckled in agreement.
They got dressed in silence. Once done, Kabuto looked over his shoulder as Akiko put her sandals on. Her outfit seemed to fit her perfectly. "You look good."
"Really? You think so?" She questioned, her hands behind her back. She wore a black, short-sleeved dress with a red sash around her waist. It had a high collar with a triangle cut out at the collar bone. The skirt only reached her mid-thigh and had a slit up the left side. Her sandals were knee length.
