CHAPTER ONE
• YOU ASKED, I ANSWERED •

"hey! get the hell off my land before i beat the living crap out of you!" millie shouts down from the balcony of her tree house.

a boy looks up, "i-i'm s-so sorry. i just wanted to-"

"lay here? have a fucking picnic at 7 in the fucking morning!? fuck off before i make you." she spat harshly as he grabs his bag and hurried off.

she drops her baseball bat and runs a hand through her hair with a loud scoff.

grabbing her bag, she walks down the wooden steps and walks across the street.

someone honks at her, "watch it!"

"you fucking watch it, asshole!" she hisses, walking towards the orphanage she may or may not have ran away from a couple years back.

obviously, they found her and came to agreement that she did not like living there so instead, she has a small apartment near by where they watch her closely and has her privacy.

but then el built herself a treehouse in a tree that was in front of the forest, kind of isolated and distanced away from the other trees.

and now, she spends most of her times there.

"morning, it's me." she walks up to the front desk.

"well, good morning millie. breakfast has started, head on down." melissa points with a smile.

millie hums, walking down to the small cafeteria they had.

the one thing they didn't fund her was school so she takes a few classes here at the orphanage with nurses that have a teachers license they have hired.

to make money, she works at a starbucks in the mall. just to save up some money for when she has to part ways with the orphanage at 18.

"hey millie." jason smiles at her.

"suck my dick." she spits with a smirk, slamming her bag down at an empty table and sits down.

"millie. language please." violet, one of the nurses there, walks towards her.

"sorry." she apologises quietly.

"aren't you going to go get breakfast? isn't it what you're here for anyways?" violet laughs quietly.

"i'm here for educational purposes. i barely know shit and i'm fucking 17 years old." millie scoffs, grabbing a piece of paper and folds a paper airplane.

"you passed all your tests. you're at a normal level, darling. now go on, go get breakfast and stop folding those planes to throw at people." violet pats her on the shoulder and walks off.

millie stands up and aims the plane at robbie. he yelps as the plane hits his face.

"oops." she flatly lets out and walks to go get food, "ice latte and eggs." she says to the lunch lady who's name was margot.

"aren't you too young-"

"hand me the fucking food, margot." she hisses, slamming her hand on the counter.
