CHAPTER SIXTEEN
• A TYPICAL DAY OF HIGH SCHOOL •

you know what's weird? waking up to the worlds most terrible headache but knowing you didn't drink or do fucking drugs the night before.

and that is what happened to millie.

she got up from her bed, because living in her treehouse was now out the window, and then got ready quickly.

she threw an outfit on quickly since she didn't have much energy to 'look good' and flawless like fucking always.

after she put a bit of makeup on (mostly eye makeup was what she focused on) she grabbed her bag and walked out to her kitchen to grab a drink.

she grabs a flask and pours some vodka in before she made her way out the door and down to the orphanage for breakfast.

"annie." she walks over to her and takes a sip of vodka out of her flask, "i have a god awful headache, make it go away."

annie looks at her in concern and places a hand on her forehead.

"no, i have a headache not a damn fever. can you help me?" millie asks.

"yes, i'll go get you some advil, darling." she smiles at her and walks off.

millie nods slowly and sits down at the table with robbie and the guys, "stop staring at my outfit, i know it is ugly and pathetic, just don't."

"no, i was going to say it looks good." leo answers as her eyes widen, "really? i just threw it on since this headache of mine won't fucking leave me alone!" she hits the side of her head.

shrugging, she sighs, "that normally works."

"you don't look too good." robbie whispers to her quietly.

"yeah because i'm not." she scoffs and takes another sip of vodka with a sigh.

"millie, take these. here's a glass of water." annie comes back to her with some advil and a glass of water.

"thanks, annie. you're the best." she smiles at her and takes the medication.

"get to school." annie smiles at her before walking off.
