2 ~ A New Beginning

LIN POV.

It's been two years since Pips and I started dating. She was always super kind, patient and is amazing with Sebby. They were adorable together.

I woke up early and pushed the covers away, swinging my legs off the bed and rubbing my eyes. Pippa stirred and continued to sleep, so I pulled the covers back over her and left the room to check on my son. 

It was going to be today. I'm going to ask Pippa a very important question, and I'm a nervous wreck. 

I began getting ready by setting up some things, like getting Seb ready for the day and changing out of my pajamas. 'I really should start if I want to get going' I thought to myself.

Right on cue, Sebastian called "Dada! Dada!" So I went to go get him. 

Sebastian was already sitting up in his twin bed waiting for me in his jammies.

"Good morning Sebby." I greeted.

"Morning, Dada!" Seb giggled.

"Let's get you dressed" I say.

"Okie!" He replies.

While I help Seb change, I suddenly worry about what might happen in the afternoon. I dress him in a blue T-Shirt with khaki shorts. "Dada, I'm hungry." Sebastian frowns.

"Let's get you breakfast. But first we need to check if Pippa is awake yet..." I tell him, while picking him up.

"Okie"

He leads me to the master bedroom where we see Pippa getting up. "Morning Pips!" I smiled.

"Morning Lin, morning Sebby!" She gushes, picking up Sebby and covering his face in kisses while Sebastian giggles. 

"Go get ready, I'll make breakfast" I let her know.

"I'll be there in 10. I can help, what are you making?" Pippa questioned.

"What do you feel like having for breakfast? Pancakes?" I suggested.

"Sure, pancakes are fine." Pip agreed, setting Sebby down.

Sebby follows me out of the bedroom and we head downstairs to the kitchen. I help him up in his chair and hand him his Chuggington toys, so he is busy while I prepare breakfast. 

I grab the pancake mix out of the pantry and prep it, then turn the stove on. I pour the right amount of batter in the pan and wait a bit, before flipping it. The pancake is a light brown colour, perfect. After making 7 pancakes, I run out of batter and put all the dirty dishes in the sink. 

Pippa comes downstairs, while tying her hair up into a ponytail. She grins and grabs 3 plates and forks as I get the syrup. 

She cuts up the pieces of pancake for Sebby and hands it to him.

After breakfast, we drop Sebby off to stay the night at my moms house. Then Pippa and I get ready for a trip to the beach.

"Hm what do I need to pack?" I wonder.

"Swim trunks, sunscreen, a towel, water bottle, snacks, extra clothing, toiletries..." Pippa lists.

"Got it, thanks hon." I say.

After an hour and a half, we arrived at the beach. Pippa was dressed in this stunning strapless light pink sundress and I was wearing khaki shorts and a button up shirt with my sleeves rolled up.

We strolled along the edge of the water watching the sun set. Right before the sun fully set, I knelt down on one knee, and pulled a small box out of my pocket. 

While opening the box, I said, "Phillipa Anne Soo. I love you so so much, and I would love to be with you forever. Pippa, will you marry me? "

She gasps and puts her hands to her mouth, tears silently streaming down her face. "Y- Yes!" She squeals, jumping up and down.

I chuckle and slide the beautiful but simple engagement ring on her finger and she admires it, before pulling me into the most passionate kiss ever.

She slowly opens her mouth, and I allow my tongue to explore. There we were. Finally engaged.

PIPPA POV.

We stayed at a hotel near the beach for the night. Both of us were exhausted, and Lin threw himself on  onto the hotel bed, laying on his back.

I walked toward the bed and layed down on top of Lin. "How are you feeling?"I whispered.

"Exhausted" Lin groaned.

I giggled and kissed him gently, and looked into his eyes, smiling. He smirks and kisses me back, more passionately and harder. He places his hands on my back and slowly drags them down my back. 

He lets out a quiet stifled moan and we continue kissing, after finally releasing and we were completely out of breath. "So...when do you want to get married?" Lin asked.

"I'm not sure, maybe in a few months? We've got to announce our engagement anyway." I reply.

"Okay. It's almost Sebby's birthday." He notes.

"I'm really excited for that! Sebby will be 3 in 3 months." I squeal. 

"Let's sleep, it's getting late." He says.

"Alright. Good night." I smile.

He kisses me good night and we fall asleep, cuddled together.
