It's finally January, and I'm officially 11 weeks today. It would be a fresh start and since it's a new year, we're trying to leave the "bad memories" behind. Obviously, we would never forget Melody and the child I miscarried, but we were still staying positive.
Jazzy is going to visit us today, and she's bringing Anthony. Lin is still always the sweetest, and my little Sebby is getting so big...
"Lin come over here, Jazzy's arriving today!" I called. (Hehe I was going to use the lyrics but I changed it :P)
"Alright, alright...I'm coming. Just need...to...get...Sebby!" He grunted, finally showing up in the living room, grasping onto a struggling boy.
"Mommy!!" Sebby screamed, writhing out of Lin's arms, and sprinting to me.
"Oh Sebby...Did you give Daddy a hard time?" I scolded.
"Yes, Mommy!" Sebby smiles.
"Sebby, be good, okay? Daddy's already tired." I laughed.
"Right here." Lin waves, gesturing to the living room.
Soon we're chatting happily and Sebby's sitting on the floor playing with his Chuggington toys.
"So..." Jazzy begins, smiling and looking up at her fiance, "Let's say it together."
"We're expecting a baby!" They tell us, sqealing happily.
"Oh my gosh! Congrats!" I gush, giving Jazzy a huge hug.
"Congratulations guys! We're so so happy for you two!" Lin laughs, patting Ant on the back.
Jazzy and I talked about other things, like baby stuff, and kids, while Lin and Anthony talked about who knows what.
"How far along are you?" I ask Jazzy.
"5 months." Jazzy smiles, "We just found out the gender."
"Oh my god, Jazzy!" I squeal, before whispering, "Is it a boy or girl?"
"It's a boy. Ant is so excited." Jazzy laughs.
"Oh my gosh that's adorable. Have you guys decided on a name yet?" I giggle.
"We like Jayden Oscar Ramos" Jazzy announces.
"I love that! Such a cute name." I gush.
Even though I haven't announced my pregnancy yet. I felt a bit sad, knowing that there is a chance I could lose this baby.
After we had dinner together, they had to leave for a doctor's appointment. The moment they left, I leant into Lin's arms.
"What's wrong?" He asks, wrapping his arms around me.
"I'm worried about our baby. I could lose our baby any time." I sobbed.
"Shh..." He coos, "We won't lose this baby. He or she's a fighter."
"H-how many kids do you want, Lin?" I ask, out of curiosity.
"How many do you want? I'm up to what you want." He assures me.
"Including Sebby, maybe 3? Or 4? Or just 2..." I suggest.
"We'll let nature take it's course and we can think about it another time." Lin smiles, kissing me on my forehead.
A sudden thought hits me, and I'm about to leave, but Lin pulls me close. "Sebby's already in bed."
"Oh." I say, biting my lip.
My husband leads us to the couch, where we cuddle for the rest of the night.
LIN POV.
Pippa is finally 5 months along. It's mid-March, and she's showing a bit now. She has always been petite, so she didn't start showing until 4 months. We passed the risky stage of the pregnancy, and now that she's in her second trimester, we could announce the pregnancy and find out the gender.
"Pippa!" I call. "Come over here."
She waddles over, carrying Sebby.
"What's up?" She asks, combing her fingers through her hair. Gosh, my wife is so beautiful. She's wearing a maternity summer dress that hugged her belly nicely.
"Should we announce...the pregnancy yet?" I ask.
"I can call some of our closer friends or family and then you can tweet it or something? And I can post it on Instagram." She suggests.
"Sure, you can call your family first, then your friends. I'll do the same." I smile.
After announcing the pregnancy, I felt a huge weight lift off my shoulders. I grabbed my phone and began typing up my tweet.
"Hey everyone. Just wanted to announce that @ PhillipaSoo and I are expecting a baby in July! -LMM"
I posted it, and immediately, I got many retweets, replies, and hearts. Pippa retweeted my tweet and added some heart emojis.
She also just posted it on Instagram.
