Elena's POV
Although I had tried very hard to give a harsh response to the Prince of Fire, the sneaky devil didn't let me stay rude for too long. The remorse and hatred that I had felt for him before I had met him had shrunk severely as to what it is now, and I felt nothing but guilty. Right now, I was laying distressed in the red silk and satin sheets of my "abduction" room, rummaging over my thoughts. It was almost 2:00 AM.
I sighed deeply as I consciously stood up from my bed and began pacing around the room. Fire had abducted me forever, at least that's what he claims. This scared the living pulse out of me, not because I cared for myself, but because I was worried for Ethan. I wondered if his powers were still sleeping right now, or if he was frantically searching for me.
He must've at least split the sky into half by now, if not causing a lightning to strike millions of people dead.
How was I going to escape from the Flame Castle? Yes, that was exactly what Fire's castle was called. To be honest, I hadn't expected such comfort and luxurious treatment from the Prince of Fire. In fact, I thought he would just lock me up into one of his dungeons and starve me to death or burn me alive or something else of the sort.
With sleep a thousand miles away from me at this point, I decided to get out of my room and explore the castle instead. It was probably a stupid move but this room full of vermillion reds was going to drive me crazy if I stayed any longer.
I quickly put on a red silk robe and tip-toed out of my room. To my surprise, the whole castle was asleep and dark. The only light was from the candles, which illuminated a lightly brilliant red light into the darkness. I grazed my fingers over the vintage walls, which were oil-painted into big fiery dragons. I gasped at the beauty of the sleeping castle. The mahogany floors creaked gently with every light step I took and the sound of thunder outside made the whole scenario even more thrilling.
The Prince of Fire's taste was truly classic, almost artistic. I heard a faint sound of music coming from my left. As I turned to the left, I saw a narrow corridor. With curiosity burning my veins, I slowly tip-toed into the narrow corridor. The music grew slightly louder as I kept on going further into the corridor. The corridor ended with a room to it's left. The music was undeniably coming from the room.
I stopped dead in my tracks. A broad, bare, and slightly muscular back was facing me. The man was playing the notes of the piano in rhythm with his strong arms. His flamy red hair was roughly dissheveled, earning him a bonfire-on-head look. The man tilted his head to the right as he fastened his beautiful music. His vein slightly popped up on the left side of his neck. The dimples in his back formed every time the shirtless perfection strengthened his notes.
It was the Prince of Fire.
If he found out I was sneaking on him, especially in a private time like this, when he has barely nothing on and is passionately playing the piano, he would undoubtedly kill me. To my very very very unfortunate luck, I took a step back in thought and the floor creaked.
The music stopped. The Prince of Fire took a deep breath as he slowy tilted his head back to see if anyone was there. My heart was rapidly skipping beats.
Oh, death here I come.
To my terrible luck once again, I nervously inhaled and this time, he sharply turned his body to face me.
His eyes were dancing with fire as he looked at me in shock. I could literally dig myself a hole and die right now.
"What are you doing here?" He venomously spoke and quickly got up from his seat.
"I-I was just..." I took a small step back in fear.
His intimidating bare chest and figure shook me with fear. His emerald green eyes were sparkling with an untamed fire as he took angry slow steps towards me.
