RECAP: Rani and Veer are going to be killed, but Veer gets an idea. He grabs a handful of sindoor and runs back to Rani. Veer screams "STOP!"
Rani turns to look at Veer. She sees the sindoor, but she is confused. Veer takes the sindoor and puts it all on her forehead. Rani is shocked! Veer basically just married her. What?!?!?!
Veer: "Ab aap sab inko haath nahi laga sakte hai. Ab yeh shadi shuda hai. Meri patni: Rani Veer Singh Rajawat."
(Now you all cannot touch her. Now she is married. My wife: Rani Veer Singh Rajawat.)
Everyone looks at Veer in shock. Such a big prince married a small village girl.
The main priest lifted his hand.
Priest: "Ab hum aap dono ki shaadi sare rasm ke saath karenge. Chalo."
(Now we will do your marriage with all the ceremonies. Let's go.)
All the priests sat around the 'havan ki aag' (it's like a special fire) and Rani and Veer sat in the middle.
----
All the ceremonies were completed and then the priest said a very surprising thing.
Priest: "Aap dono ki shaadi hamare Kuldevi ki mandir mein hui hai, toh iska matlab hai ki Kuldevi maa aap dono ko saath janam main pati aur patni rakhenge."
(Your marriage has been done in our Kuldevi Goddess temple, so this means that Goddess Kuldevi will keep you as husband and wife in your next 7 lives.)
Rani and Veer still did not react. Both were stunned by everything that had happened in the past few hours. They left the temple and as Veer was driving home, it all hit him. Today would've been his marriage with Kiara, he would be fulfilling his promise to his mother, he would've made Kiara happy. And look at him, he married an uneducated, village girl.
Veer's mind was filled with so much anger. He just wanted to drive the car to the edge of the cliff and kill himself, but again Rani. He did everything possible to save her life, now there is no way he would let this life go away like that,
Rani had been sobbing the whole time. Her life had flashed in front of her eyes. All those dreams, all those wishes, her family, her dad...she could never go back. Now she's someone's wife, someone's daughter-inlaw, she is no longer her fathers. Even her surname is gone. Her studies would be stopped, she wouldn't be an engineer. Her father was still in jail! What about him? She couldn't accept the fact that she has a husband now. Dakter Saab? How?!
Then she remembered all about Kiara. The poor bride would be waiting for Veer and he has already become married. How would they face everyone at home? What would society think of them? A big, successful prince and doctor married an illiterate, lower-class girl. She lost all her strength to enter the palace. It was all over. She would lose her job and she would be surrounded with humiliation.
Finally, they reached the doors of the palace. Veer slowly drove in and parked the car. He stepped out of the car and waited for Rani to do the same.
Rani: "Ab...?"
(Now...?)
Veer didn't respond but took her wrist (the one that's not swollen) and they entered the palace. Before they both came into everyone's view, they went into another corridor and Veer told Rani to wait there.
He walked towards his family. He saw everyone's worried faces and Kiara sitting there waiting to get married. He felt guilty, but he couldn't do anything about it. Vikram noticed him first.
Vikram: "Bhai! Aap kahan the? Arey, aapka yeh haal kaise hua?)
(Bro! Where were you? Hey, how did your condition become like this?)
