Mina POV
Next day coming, I avoid all eyes contact with Chaeyoung. How could he kiss me when we're only friends? Ugh! So, I have right to get mad, right? But, here I am being flutters whenever I think about it. I sigh.
"Mina, can we speak outside for a second?" Mrs. Son asked with her stern face.
"Yeah." I respond.
But, my mind can't help thinking 'what have you done?' 'What did you do?' 'You got in trouble.' I follow Mrs. Son out into the hallway and she turns to me, sweetly smiling now.
"I have an unexpected errand. I didn't plan a babysitter. Well, I have to leave before I can pick up my daughter, so would you mind babysitting her until Chaeyoung gets back from track practice? I already told Chaeyoung to pick her up and drop her off at home." Mrs. Son explain to me.
"Oh, sure." I agree smiling to her.
"Thank god. Thank you Mina. I will pay you tomorrow." She said happily.
"Oh, its nothing. You don't have to. Chaeyoung's my friend so just think of it was a favor." I said.
"Aww, so sweet of you. No wonder he likes you." She said but I can't process the last sentences.
"Haa?" I confused.
"Ah, nothing. Can you do me another favor?" She asked.
"Walk in looking sad. So its looks like I yelled at you. I want kids start taking me seriously." Mrs. Son jokes. Oh! That's explain her stern face early.
After school, I couldn't ask Chaeyoung for a ride. Like I said, I'm supposed to be mad at him but I'm more flustered. Even after what happened at mountain, I could forget about it until he mention. But this time its different. It kept replays in my head and rewinds and I can't pause or stop it. I forced to trek through the sloppy snow which was melted and mixed with the mud to form a brown slushy. With my efforts, I still manage to get my shoe and socks soaked. I sighs. Luckily, I get to their house before Chaeyoung back from picking up his little sister. I sit on their steps barefoot, taken off my socks and trying to dry the insides of my shoes with some fast food napkins I found in my backpack. Once Chaeyoung pulls up, I abandon my socks and only put back on my shoes. His little sister with bouncy pigtails and a hot pink winter coats runs out and sticks her nose up when she see me.
"Who are you?" She asked with sass.
"Your babysitter." I replied.
"Where's my mom?" She asked again.
"She had something to do." I replied with smile.
"Oppa!!" She shrieks.
"Stranger danger!" She turn to her brother.
"Yeji. Its fine. I know her. Her name's Mina." Chaeyoung joins us with his sister's backpack in hand.
Yeji unlocks the door and she flies off upstairs within second. Chaeyoung drops her backpack on the couch and rushed upstairs after Yeji. I awkwardly sit down on the couch looking around and seeing what's changed. We rarely study anymore when I'm supposed to be his tutor. Chaeyoung comes bounding down the stairs with socks. Without any words, he kneels down in front of me and starts to take off my shoes.
"Chaeyoung, what are you doing." I said trying to pull my leg.
He just ignores me and slips his socks onto on of my feet.
"I have a socks in my backpack." I argue.
Chaeyoung holds my bare feet foot and wraps his hand around it.
