Mina POV

"If you like him, why don't you tell him?" Jeongyeon asked.

"You should told yourself about that too." I return.

"My situation is different Mina. Tzuyu obviously don't like me. But, Chaeyoung is totally crazy about you." He replied.

"How you can be so sure?" I asked.

"He stopped hanging out with us until now. At first, we were resentful until we figured out what was going on." He said.

"Huh?" I'm confused.

"The rumours about you." He said.

"Oh." That's all I can said.

"We didn't believe them. We just realise Chaeyoung was hanging out with you because your friend dropped you." He said.

"They didn't drop me necessarily. They were understandably upset. I'm the one stopped on purpose." I replied.

"Really? So, you stood at the lunch table waiting for them cause you didn't want to be around them anymore?" He asked.

"You saw that?" I asked shocked.

"Yeah." He replied.

"How come you're not even a bit mad at your friend?" He added.

"Everything was my fault." I said.

"Huh? Because Chaeyoung likes you? Isn't it his fault then?" He said confused.

"No. I messed up. I should have stopped being around Chaeyoung the moment I know Tzuyu liked him. But, even now I'm clinging to him. No wonder everyone finds me annoying." I answer.

"I don't get it. Are you going to give up whatever your friends like? Your house? Your car? Your pet? Are you going to keep letting people run your life?" He said.

"That's different. That stuff would belong to me first." I argue.

"And Chaeyoung didn't? You know him first. And how you do know he didn't like you before Tzuyu liked him?" He argues back.

"Of course he didn't." I said.

"He did." He said.

"Yeah right." I roll my eyes.

"Don't you notice how protective he is of you at school? He even called out anyone who tried spread rumours about you in the middle of class. He almost beat up JB and Jackson in the locker room too. He even begging her mom to pursue you to be his tutor to know you better. So, you still think he didn't have anything for you?" He said looking at me.

"Wait, what? Is he crazy? What if he get anything record that would ruin his chances of scholarships?" I said worriedly.

"That's not the point Mina. The point is, Chaeyoung's crazy about you." He said.

"I'm scared to ruin everything. Its better for us to stay friends. Plus, Chaeyoung will find someone who's better for him." I said looking down.

"Isn't unfair for Chaeyoung? You might think that the best for him, but actually you don't. And its unfair for you too. You're too considerate of your friends. If they are really your friend, they would try to understand you." He said.

We sinks into silence and I reflect on Jeongyeon words. He's right but I don't know. Ugh, could love be hard as math? After a while, they returned with large doughnut box in Dahyun hand. Tzuyu walk with empty hand while Chaeyoung holds two steaming cups in his hands.

"Why you guys buy so many?" Jeongyeon asked.

"You should come with us, Jeongyeon. There was so much stuff we couldn't choose. So we bought a dozen." Dahyun said excitedly.
