Mina POV

Valentines day is coming soon, so everyone is excited to celebrate. Well, definitely not me. For Valentines day, the cooking club decided to have a fundraiser. So we can have more money to buy the ingredients. The cooking club definitely have to something to raiser our money. If not, we going to continue eat abundance of potatoes and starches. So, the idea was to sell edible Valentines that could be delivered with handmade card. It was suggested that we make cupcakes until I pointed out that the frosting would likely melt unless we frosted hours before delivering that seem impossible. So, I suggested some sugar cookies frosted with royal icing that could be personalised by writing people's name on it.

However, I failed to notice that I was the only one who knew how to bake and frost. So, the game plan was changed and the ones who knew the best recipes beside me would bake, the others would make the cards, and I would be the lone frosted. Because I was the only one frosting, the cookie designed had to be compromised. This way I could actually manage to frost a couple hundred of them. After the long weekend of preparations, we were ready to start selling some.

People would fill out the recipient, then choose a card design with message on it and whether they wanted to disclosed their name. Then, I would pipe out the names on the cookies while everyone else helped packaged the cookies. Luckily, someone had the idea to make a spreadsheet that ordered the recipient names alphabetically. So, I would know how many times I had to pipe a certain and I can make all of them at once and not confuse myself. It was up to the packagers to know who specially to hand it to.

I was really curious when the spreadsheet said I had to pipe Chaeyoung thirty-seven times. There's no way one person got that many orders. But when I think again, I don't even shock. Its Son Chaeyoung the most popular boy in the school. When comes to M's, I don't see any my name at all. I never expect anything but I could feel my stomach knot as I tries to find my names. What was I expecting anyways? I sighed. Being in the club, I definitely had to contribute by purchasing some cookies myself. However, the recipient I had in my mind may or may not thirty seven of them already coming his way. So, I decided to send anonymous letters to my friends, telling them to meet me at my job six o'clock.

Seulgi is sitting next to me, with a mic in hand and table full of packages cookies. She calls out each individual's name to come up to the table and grab their Valentine. Everyone tries to sections off different numbers of cookies for each person. Most receive one and at most nine, though that many only come from friends. I don't try to help at all, but I have an excuse and everyone knows it. My hands are completely cramped from piping hundreds of cookies and smell of frosting is enough to make me puke. The S's approach and I listen intensively for 'Son'.

"Son Chaeyoung." Seulgi calls.

The recipient walks up, Seulgi reaches for one cookies and hands it to him.

"Son Chaeyoung." Again, Seulgi call up for Chaeyoung.

I can see Chaeyoung seem hesitant to walk up, but his track friends expecially Dahyun and Jeongyeon push him forward.

"These all are yours I believe." Seulgi laughs in disbelief.

"Yup. This totally yours." She check the spreadsheet again.

"Shoot! How many girls have you been flirting?" All his friend whistles and tease him.

Chaeyoung has to rake his cookies into his backpack. All his friends clamour around him, trying asking for the cookies. He agrees, but not before he scan over each card. By the end, he had given most of them away and not eating single one himself. Although Chaeyoung received a lot, he busies himself with the cards and scanning over them repeatedly. He look like he's been looking for specific card would send to him. The end, he seem disappointed.
