Chapter 41

Chaeyoung POV

"Maybe we should just stay at my aunt's hotel." Jeongyeon offers.

"I feel bad. We didn't even pay for our last stay." Mina sheepishly said.

"Don't worry about it." Jeongyeon said.

"Are you sure?" She asked confirm.

"Yeah. If we stay at another hotel, we just pay to her competitor. Plus, its too dangerous to drive home. They said it might be a blizzard soon." Jeongyeon ensure Mina.

"Well, okay then." Mina giving in.

"I guess people staying cause of the blizzard." Dahyun said as we arrived most parking spot is filled.

"Shoot! I'm not sure if there's going to be enough room." Jeongyeon just realise.

Sure enough, there wasn't. We got a single, couple room. Its consisted of only one bed, a couch, a small kitchen, and a small dining table. Luckily, the couch is once again able to fold out. But, this time Dahyun and Jeongyeon insisted that I and Mina get the bed since last time we slept on the couch. I told Mina to call her dad.

"Hey dad." She said.

"Hi, Mina. When are you coming home?" Her dad asked.

"Actually, there's blizzard. So, its dangerous to drive. I'm staying at a friend aunt hotel again." She said.

"Oh, is Chaeyoung with you?" Her dad asked.

"Yeah." She replied.

"That's good. Tell him to keep you safe." Her dad said.

"No, I'm not going to tell him that. Its embarrassing." She whisper to her dad.

Cute! I grabs her phone as I eavesdropping on her.

"Don't worry. I will make sure she's safe. Yup.. okay.. alright. Bye." I end the call.

"What did he asked you?" She asked me curious.

"Nothing." I grins and hand her phone back. Well, lately I and her dad become more closer.

Suddenly, the power goes out.

"Give me a second. I'm going to see what's going on." Jeongyeon leaves us behind.

"We should go to shop downstairs and get some food since we can't go out. I'm hungry." Dahyun suggest.

"After ramen and five donuts?" Mina said shocked.

"Don't blame me. Skiing drained all my energy. I need recharge." He defends.

""We should go now if we want to buy something before the others guest buy everything." I said.

We then went downstairs, grab cold sandwiches, chips, some drinks, and Jeongyeon bring back a bunch of burgers and fries from the restaurant inside hotel. He also brought a deck of cards and we plays until we couldn't see anymore. After eating a bit, we decide to sleep. The power still off so we couldn't take a shower with the freezing cold water. Well, being bored sleep is the only option. I and Mina laid awake next to each other.

"Are you asleep Mina?" I asked facing her.

"Yeah." She replied.

"Then why are you talking?" I asked.

"I'm sleep talking." She said.

"Mina." I call her.

She just hummed.

"I'm glad there's a blizzard." I said.

"Why?" She also turn to facing me. I can see she's a bit shocked seeing me already facing her.
