Chapter 9

1st POV:

GOD!! How could I have been so stupid! Chifuyu never messaged me and Keisuke still won't reply. I'm such an idiot!! I had been out most of the night trying to find Chifuyu and Keisuke but ultimately ended up home when Mitsuya had come looking for me. I just asked him if he knew they could be, but I guess when you ask someone that at 2:30 in the morning, that probably isn't the best. Mitsuya brought me home and told me he would talk to Mikey and the others in the morning but only after I got some sleep. 

Unfortunately, I did not sleep. Instead of waiting for Mitsuya to message me, I figured I could go out early and look for them before I met up with Mitsuya and the others. Luckily today was Saturday so I didn't have to worry about missing school, not like that was important in this situation. 

I was walking around town trying to think of all the places I visited with Keisuke and Chifuyu when is- is that Takemitchy!? It is!! I start walking in his direction but wait he's talking to someone on the swing. Oh God! that poor person, they look like they got hit by a car! They are covered in bruises and bandages, maybe I should wait until they finish talkin- wait... wait- WAIT A MINUTE-

I run over and slap the boy on the swing, he falls backwards as Takemitchy yells, "AHHH- Y/N!? What are you doing?" I ignore him as I jump on the boy's body on the ground and hug him tightly as I start crying. He hugs me back. "Uh Y/N, what are you doing?" Takemitchy asks me cautiously. 

"You- You- You asshole!!!" I choke out in between my sobs, "You said that you'd message me."

"I know. I'm sorry Y/N." Chifuyu says, making no attempt to push me off or get up off the ground. I continue to cry into the crook of his neck,

"Chifuyuuuu. I spent all night looking for you. You asshole Chifuyu. I was so worried. Why didn't you message me? You asshole." I continue to whine for a couple more minutes as Chifuyu continued comforting me, before I finally asking, "Did you find Baji? Who did this to you? was it someone from Valhalla?" Chifuyu sits me up on his lap so I'm straddling him, before tapping my hips and telling me to hop up first.  I blush, totally embarrassed as I nod and stand up, giving Chifuyu my hand to help him up as well. I gently hold his cheeks and graze my fingers softly over his bandages, "Did Valhalla do this to you?" I say almost in a whisper. Chifuyu avoids eye contact and starts fiddling with his fingers before he grabs my hands and removes them from his cheeks,

"Uh yeah. It was someone from Valhalla." Chifuyu says, still not looking at my eyes.

"Wait... wasn't it Baji-san who beat you up?" I turn to face Takemitchy as he continues talking, oblivious to Chifuyu behind me trying to signal Takemitchy to stop, "Yeah no, I was there and it was definitely Baji-san punching you in front of all of Valhalla, you remember right Chifuyu? or did he hit you that hard? something about like an initiation, to make sure he wasn't a toman spy. I mean you also just admitted to me that you were the guy Baji-kun beat to a pulp before Y/N came runnin-" I turn now looking at Chifuyu with dark eyes as he chuckles nervously

"Haha, thanks Takemitchy," Chifuyu glares at Takemitchy, before turning to me, "I'm sorry Y/N, I just didn't want you to worry."

"I would be worried either way. You shouldn't lie. I thought we were friends." Saddened I look towards the ground, not really sure what else to say to Chifuyu. 

"I'm really sorry Y/N. I know I should've told you the truth, I just didn't want you to think badly of Baji-"

"Didn't you call Baji-kun a total badass for doing that?" Takemitchy says gesturing to Chifuyu's face. Chifuyu glares at Takemitchy again before continuing,

"Yes, I did say that. BUT-" Chifuyu sighs, "Look, I'm sorry Y/N, I should've told you but I need both of you to listen to this. Baji-san did this because he had to. He didn't get into Valhalla to destroy Toman. He's got something in mind. Baji-san joined Valhalla so he could get at Kisaki."

"What!?" Takemitchy yells. 

"Come on. Let's go meet Mikey and Draken." Chifuyu says. 

"Ok wait for me, I just have to message Mitsuya," I say before getting out my phone.

"Mitsuya? Isn't that Toman's second division captain?" "Mitsuya? Why are you messaging him? When did you even get his number?" Takemitchy and Chifuyu both ask me.

"Uh well since I babysit for him I have his number and while I was out looking for you and Keisuke, I messaged him to see if he heard from you guys and I guess it was kind of late so he came and took me home anyway- he said that he would get Mikey and Draken and we could look for you guys together. So I'm just telling him not to worry about it because I found you." I smile up at Chifuyu as I finish my message to Mitsuya. Chifuyu smiles back at me,

"Alright, come on you two. I'll explain everything on the way to Mikey and Draken."

Timeskip

So Chifuyu said that Baji thinks Kisaki is connected with Valhalla and that he was connected to Moebius as well. We met up with Mikey and Draken and Mikey talked about his brothers' death and the founding members of Toman. Takemitchy then declared that he wants to be the top guy in Toman and Chifuyu agreed to help him, if Takemitchy helps him. 

We left Mikey and Draken and went to see Moebius's former leader, Osanai. He told us that Kisaki approached him and said he could help him rule Tokyo. Osanai said that it was Kisaki's idea to go after Draken in the hopes he would become the second in command of Toman but since that plan failed he is now working with Valhalla's acting leader. 

Eventually, Takemitchy went his own way, he said something about seeing Hana-chan's brother. Chifuyu was walking me home, we weren't talking much, just enjoying each other's presence. 

"Hey Y/N?" I looked over at Chifuyu and hummed in response. "I'm sorry about Baji-san."

"It's ok. I know he's just trying to do the right thing. He wants to protect Toman, and sure, I'm worried about him but I trust him!" I smile at Chifuyu, "plus, he is pretty badass isn't he?" I nudge him with a teasing smirk. Chifuyu laughs in response to this. 

We arrive at my house to Mitsuya sitting on the steps out the front.
