1st POV:

We had arrived at my apartment and it seemed like the day's events had caught up to me. I had started crying not long after we got in the door and it was like I couldn't stop.

Emma-chan was gone and someone was probably going to die- I mean 50 to 300. I believed in the boys but there was no way they wouldn't get seriously injured. And if Kisaki was behind it then something bad definitely would happen. How- how could Kisaki kill Emma-chan... she wasn't even a part of the gang. Was it seriously all about Mikey-kun? Poor Mikey...

In the midst of my meltdown, Hakkai had called Takashi. He informed us the Toman had won because luckily Mikey and Draken had shown up just in time. Izana and Kisaki were dead though.

Somehow that news had made me cry even more. I must have been bottling a lot of stuff up because I wailed about everything from Emma to Mikey and Draken, Hina and Takemichi, Chifuyu, Keisuke and then ended up crying about how Takashi had gotten hurt earlier.

Takashi didn't say anything as I cried, he just held me in his arms until I stopped and had finally calmed down. "You ok now?" He asked softly as he stroked my hair gently.

"Y-yeah. I'm sorry. You should- probably go home. The- the girls will be waiting for you." I said, standing up from where we were sitting on the couch.

"My mum is home today. So don't worry, ok? I'm gonna stay here with you." Takashi said as he tried to stand up after me only to groan in pain.

"Hey. Sit back down, ok?" I said as I rushed back over to his side.

"See? I'm injured so I'll have to stay here all night," He smiled cheekily at me, "You'll have to nurse me back to health." I blushed, turning away from him,

"Stupid Takashi..." I mumbled. Takashi then reached out his hand, grabbing my chin gently as he turned me back to face him.

"Let me stay with you," He whispered quietly. I swear my heart had stopped, I tried to speak but I couldn't, I just nodded. We sat there, Takashi holding my chin, as I stared into his eyes, neither of us moving. He slowly moved his thumb up... brushing over my bottom lip, I moved my eyes down to look at his lips, before looking back up to his. Takashi was staring right back into my eyes- it seemed that our senses came back as we both slightly jumped away.

"Ahem! Uh- you must be hungry, right? I'll go make us something to eat. Is- Is omurice, ok?" I asked abruptly as I stood up and started walking to the kitchen.

"Y-yeah sure. That's fine." I heard from where I was.

I had cooked us food and we had sat at the table eating in complete silence. Whenever we made eye contact we would both avert our eyes. It was most definitely the awkwardest meal I had ever had.

"Uh- I'll sleep on the couch then," Takashi said after I had washed the dishes,

"Wh-what? No. I'll sleep on the couch. You're injured you sleep in the bed." I said as I approached him.

"I'm fine Y/N. You sleep in your bed. I'm sleeping on the couch." Takashi said back to me.

"If you're not going to sleep on the bed, then neither am I. You take the couch and I'll sleep on the floor." I replied.

"What? No. Y/N, please. Go sleep in your bed." Takashi spoke as he approached me, pushing me gently in the direction of the stairs that led to my bed.

"W-why... don't we sleep there to-together then? I- I mean we both want the other to sleep there and my bed is big enough for two people..." I said shyly, looking towards my feet.

"Y-you... Would you be ok with that?" Takashi asked. Too nervous to speak I simply nodded my head.

And that was how I ended up in the same bed as Takashi. We lay there facing away from each other. The awkward tension in the air was so thick you could cut it with a knife. I was trying everything to relax from breathing exercises to counting sheep but nothing seemed to help slow my beating heart.

"Are you asleep?" I asked as I rolled over facing Takashi back.

"No." Takashi sighed as he too rolled over, facing me. We stared at each other as we laid there. "Hey," Takashi said as he smiled at me.

"Hey," I whispered back.

"You can't sleep either?" Takashi asked.

"No..." I replied sleepily, "Maybe, it would've been better if you went home."

"You don't want me here...?" He asked back.

"Huh? N-No... I mean- I want you here." I answered.

"You... want me here."

"Yes... No. Yes... I- I mean..." As I stuttered out words Takashi chuckled at me.

"So is that a yes... or no?" He whispered out.

"...Yes..." I mumbled.

"Me too." He said as he began gently caressing my cheek. Moving his hand from my cheek, down my neck, shoulder and back, down to my waist. Pulling me into him. "You're warm..." He murmured into the top of my head as I lay there internally screaming. I really hope he can't hear how fast my heart is beating. "Is it ok if we sleep like this?" He asked.

"...yeah..." I whispered back as I began to relax into him, nuzzling into his chest.

"How are you feeling after everything that happened today?" Takashi asked as we lay there.

"U-uh better than I felt earlier... Thank you for staying with me, and I'm sorry for... you know, crying so much earlier." I replied getting sleepier by the minute, snuggling further into Takashi.

"I'm glad you're feeling better," Takashi said quietly.

"How are you feeling? How's your head? It must still be hurting, right?" I asked him back.

"It's better now, it doesn't hurt that much." He replied. I shifted slowly, moving away from Takashi, leaning on my elbow, I sit up slightly. Allowing me to lean over his body and place a kiss on his head.

"There. I kissed it all better." I said moving back to my previous position, "You should go to sleep now."

"Goodnight Y/N." Was the last thing I heard before I drifted off to sleep.
