Chapter 19

1st POV:

I open my eyes slowly... What- what happened...?

...Mitsuya...

All my senses come back to me and I gasp for air- where am I? I try to move but...

-am I on someones back?

"Mitsuya..." I groan out, "Where's Mitsuya? Is he ok?"

"Hey... You should be worried about yourself first." The person carrying me says.

"No- no. I need Mitsuya." I lift my head off their back and I see familiar silver hair, "Mitsuya? You're ok?" He turns his head slightly, turning to look at me.

"Of course!" Mitsuya smiles at me and I fall back down onto his back, smiling.

"I should be the one carrying you, you got hit with a pole," I say as I try to get off Mitsuya's back.

"Don't move. Stay." Mitsuya says as he tightens his grip around my thighs. 

"What happened?" I asked, snuggling into Mitsuya's back. 

"Takemichi fought Taiju and inspired everyone as he does. But in the end, Mikey and Draken showed up. They took down Taiju and all the Black Dragons."

"Where is everyone now?" I ask looking around but seeing no one else.

"Hakkai and Yuzaha are talking with Taiju still, Draken took Chifuyu home, Mikey had to take Takemitchy somewhere- something about Emma-chan and Hina-chan. So I'm taking you home." 

"What? No. I need to take you to the hospital. You got hit on the head with a pole, you'll be lucky if you only have a concussion," I say as I push off Mitsuya's back, against his will. As I stand up on my own two feet, I look around, trying to gauge where we were. I grab Mitsuya's hand and start pulling him along to find the nearest hospital. 

"We don't need to go to the hospital. Y/NNN... I'm fine." Mitsuya whined childishly at me but when I turned around to look at him, he was smiling back at me. I just giggle back at him and kept pulling him along. 

Timeskip

Mitsuya had a severe concussion and had to stay the night in hospital. The doctors gave me a check-up as well but just said I had a minor concussion so they gave me some painkillers and let me go. I stayed with Mitsuya though. He was asleep by the time I got back from my check-up so I sat on the chair next to bed. I sat watching him sleep before standing up and leaning over Mitsuya's sleeping body, placing a kiss on his forehead, "You were really cool Takashi... Thank you."

"Ahh... I'm glad you thought I looked cool." I open my eyes to Mitsuya smiling cheekily at me. My face erupts in red as I sit back in the chair and lay my head on the bed, hiding my face from his view.

"I like when you call me by your first name," Mitsuya says as he begins patting my head.

Timeskip

It was New Year's Eve and here I was wearing a yukata with Takashi, Luna, Mana, Hakkai and Yuzuha. We were meeting Takemichi and Hina at the festival. "Huh? Mitsuya-kun are those two the little sisters I've heard about?" Takemichi said as he bent down to the little girls, "How old are you? What little angels."

"I'm not a little kid. Dumb-face." I chuckle at Luna as Mana copies her big sister, "Dumb-face."

"Huh?" Takemichi asks confused.

"Yay, pretty lady." The girls squeal as they hug Hina, "Look Y/N, she's pretty like you." I giggle at their actions

"Yeah, Hina-chan is very pretty isn't she?" I ask them to which they agree. Mana then comes up to me and grabs my hand, holding it as she pulls me more towards Luna and Hina-chan.

"How are you raising them?!" Takemichi yells at Mitsuya as I laugh at his reaction.

"Yuzuha-chan, have you and Hakkai-kun healed up already?" Hina-chan asked Yuzuha as she stood with Hakkai.

"Yeah, Hakkai's completely recovered!" Yuzuha replied and Hakkai shyly turned away... Still not used to girls I guess.

"Big sis, hold my hand!" Luna yells to Hina-chan.

"Sure thing," Hina replies, 

"Us too! Us too!" Mana yells as she grabs Hina's other hand. Hina turns to me and we both giggle at the girl's excitement.

"Hey, Hey! That's my Hina!!" Takemichi yells out after us as we walk on ahead.

The others caught up to us as we arrived at an ema (wooden plague to write prayers/ wishes on and then hang up at the shrine) stall. "Ah! Takemichi-kun. They've got ema here!" Hina-chan calls out to Takemichi and we all decide to write one.

"I want to be good... at fighting... next year. There." Takashi says as he writes his wish down on the plaque. I giggle at his wish and listen to Luna read what she's writing,

"I hope mommy will play with me more.", "Me too!" Mana calls out next to her. "What did you write Y/N-nee?" Luna asks me, 

"Uh-h well it's a bit silly..." I say nervously, 

"Hmm? What does it say?" Takashi comes up behind me. I turn the plaque so he can read it,

"I hope everyone can have a good future." He reads out for everyone to hear, I turn to look at Takemichi who stares wide-eyed at me and smiles, giving me a small nod.

"What did you write?" Hina asks Takemichi, but he hides his plaque,

"...Hina... Well, you see... If I let anyone see it, then it won't come true!!" Takemichi says nervously,

"Huh? What is it?", "Let me see, Takemitchy!", Hakkai and Takashi say to Takemichi.

"NO, NO!" Takemichi yells but ends up throwing his plaque. He chases after it and the rest of us follow behind him. 

It lands on the ground and Chfiuyu picks it up. As Takemichi tries to get it back, Chifuyu ends up throwing it back. Soon enough half of Toman is chasing after Takemichi's plaque. 

Mikey-kun eventually picks it up as the countdown begins,

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!!" We all shout as Mikey-kun throws the plaque in the sky.
