Chapter 35

1st POV:

"Hey, Takemichi. Are you free right now?" I asked over the phone. I had gone with Takashi to his part-time job, noticing that Chifuyu was probably at work as well so I had called Takemichi hoping he wasn't far from where I was. 

"Hey Y/N, uh yeah I think so. Chifuyu just went to work." He replied.

"Great! Where are you? Let's meet up." 

Takemichi was sitting on the bank of the river, clearly lost in thought. I sat next to him and he finally realised I was there. I smiled at him as he glanced at me. "How are you feeling?" I asked him.

"I-I'm good..." He answered, causing me to give him a look, "Uh well I'm just worried about everyone. I mean Mikey really needs help and Chifuyu thinks I should get everyone back together and get everyone involved but- everyone is moving on with their lives and working really hard. They've all got plans I can't ask them for help with this." Takemichi sighed as he smiled at me.

"Hmmm, I see." I pondered as Takemichi chuckled. I looked at him confused.

"That's exactly the same thing Chifuyu said when I told him I didn't want to get everyone involved." I'm glad he laughed. He must be under a lot of pressure right now. 

"I guess we spend too much time together," I giggle alongside Takemichi, "So you don't want everyone involved, huh?" Takemichi nodded at my question.

"Well then, let's save Mikey-kun together," I stated.

"But- you and Takashi... You're moving on with your life as well, I don't want to trouble you." Takemichi sighed.

"Come onnn, pleasee~ You can't do everything on your own. Mikey-kun is important to me as well. You weren't here and I didn't help Mikey enough. I thought he was doing better but then he just... disappeared. Please Takemichi, let me help you." I begged him.

"Alright then, Y/N. I'm sure Chifuyu will also want to get involved but I want to keep him out of it as much as possible, he's getting busy now and I don't want to burden him."

"You do know he's more stubborn than I am, right? Chifuyu's not gonna let you keep him out," I chuckle out. Takemichi smiles at me. We sat in silence for a moment before Takemichi's phone began ringing.

"Huh? Draken-kun?!" Takemichi said as he looked at his phone, before answering.

"Takemitchy, are you free to come by for a bit?" I heard Draken say through the phone.

Timeskip

"It's been a while, Draken-kun!" Takemichi called out as we entered D & D motorcycle shop. Draken was sitting in the workshop at the back working on a bike.

"Yeah," He answered as he continued to work, "And I just finished fixing this CB25OT. Huh, Y/N, You're here too?" He asked as he stood and turned around. I smiled at him as I waved my hand.

"Yeah, I was with Takemichi. I hope you don't mind that I tagged along," I spoke.

"Nah, it's nice seeing you." He smiled in return.

"A bike, huh?" Takemichi said as he looked behind Draken.

"Yeah, sorry for the delay. The parts I ordered just arrived after waiting for so long. Why don't you go out for a try?" Mikey must have given the bike to him. I sadly smiled to myself. 

"Alright. Y/N, do you want to come with us?" Takemichi asked, turning to me. 

"Will, I fit?" I questioned in return. Both of us now turning towards Draken.

"Yeah, the three of us should fit."

"Then sure! I'll come," I smiled at the two boys as Draken began taking it outside. I grabbed three helmets before following behind the boys.

Takemichi sat on the front than Draken behind him, while I sat on the back holding tightly onto Draken. "Oho~ Y/N, you'll make someone jealous if they see you holding onto me that tightly," Draken teased. Causing me to smack him in the shoulder as I muttered, "Shut up." This action only made him laugh. I'm glad he was laughing. We didn't get to see each other a lot in the past couple of years but since Mikey had left him, Draken never seemed like himself. 

 As we rode around the streets Takemichi told Draken about Mikey's future. "I see... So you're back from the future?" Draken asked, "Wait! Does Y/N know?" Draken exclaimed, turning his head to face me.

"Yeah, I was one of the first to know, alongside Chifuyu," I replied before Takemichi continued talking,

"Mikey-kun has always helped me... So this time, it's my turn!" I smiled at his determination. 

"But's there's nothing that we can do about Mikey," Draken said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Well, I can't really say... But we, the former Toman members, are good people. Mikey on the other hand wishes to pursue the opposite path. That is why he left us all. Takemitchy. Leave Mikey be. He is not the same person as he was in Toman. Do you understand? He will not hold back and think twice about killing you." Draken spoke. I stared off down the road as I listened to him speak. Huh? 

"Isn't that-" I started speaking but was cut off.

"Get out of here Draken!!!" Inupi was being held by some guy riding a bike towards us.

"Inupi!?" Draken and I both yelled. 

"Catch!!" The guy smirked as he threw Inupi towards us.

"Watch out!!" Inupi screamed as he came flying towards the bike. Takemichi dodged him as he squeezed the brakes. I turned behind us to see that Inupi had safely landed on the ground. Noticing that the other guy had also skidded to a stop.

"So, let's jazz things up, 'Nocturne'"

"Who the hell is this guy?" I asked, turning to Draken.

"The representative from Rokuhara Tandai, 'The unparalleled' South," Draken answered. What?! He was one of the three deities that Yamagishi was talking about to Takemichi earlier. Why on earth is he here?!  I whipped my head back and forth noticing more and more bikes surrounding us. Soon enough we were completely surrounded. Takemichi also looked panicked as he glanced around at the gang surrounding us. Draken tried to get off the bike but I held onto him tighter, absolutely terrified. Draken glanced at me, giving me a look that caused me to let him go. 

"Draken~," The South guy sung as he approach us, "Partner up with me."
