Chapter 8

1st POV:

I slam the classroom door open as I search the room for Chifuyu. "Uh, can I help you?" Someone from inside the classroom asked, "Are you looking for someone?"

"Uh-oh-um if Chifuyu here?" I ask suddenly embarrassed that the whole class was staring at me.

"Y/N? What's wrong?" I turn behind me to see Chifuyu standing there, "I just got here." I grab his hand and drag him away from the door of the classroom and away from the other students. "What's going on Y/N?"

"Keisuke didn't come home last night," I say panicked, "He said he would be home really late because he had to do something after the toman meeting but he wasn't home this morning and he's not answering any of my texts. Do you know where he is? Mitsuya said he punched Takemitchy yesterday, what if he's in trouble. I tried to find you this morning before class started but you weren't here. I don't know what to do, do you think something bad could've happened?" I started hyperventilating. 

"Hey, hey, shhh- calm down Y/N, it's alright I'm here now. I'm sorry I wasn't here this morning. It's going to be ok, I think I may know where Baji is so calm down. Shhh, it's ok. I'm here. I'm here. Just breath." I started to slow my breathing as Chifuyu rubbed circles on my back, still holding me in a tight hug.

"I'm sorry, it's just Keisuke is like the only family I have left. I mean I have my father, but he's never around and Keisuke's mother only looks after me because Keisuke asked her to. If he's gone, I don't know what I'd do." Chifuyu hugged me tighter,

"I know, it's ok. I wouldn't let something happen to Baji, plus you still have me. You're like my family too Y/N." I smile against Chifuyu's chest, he really is one of the nicest people I've ever met. 

"Could you tell me what happened at the meeting last night?" I ask curiously. Chifuyu gets  a nervous look on his face,

"Uh-h yeah, about that... Baji may have quit Toman." Chifuyu answers as he scratches his cheek while avoiding eye contact with me.

"What? Why? Why did he do that? Did something happen to the gang? There isn't another fight is there?" I ask worriedly, the panic I felt earlier starting to come back. "Wait, you said you might know where he is?"

"Ok, ok, let me explain. He quit, to join Valhalla, another gang, also known as the headless angels because of his friend, Kazutora. Kazutora is Valhalla's number three. I think it has something to do with Mikey." Chifuyu said while deep in thought.

"Mikey? As in the president of Toman? Why?" 

"I don't know exactly but I'll find out," Chifuyu gives me a big smile, "So don't worry Y/N!" I smile back at him. Chifuyu really is sweet. Just before the bell goes to signal the end of lunch Chifuyu gets a message on his phone. He stares at it for a while before showing the screen to me.

Baji                                                                                                                                          We need to talk. Can you meet me?

"Look it's Baji. See everything is fine. I'll go meet him and bring him back."

"Let me come with you," I ask, pleading Chifuyu with my eyes. 

"It's ok. You stay at school and you can meet us after. Wouldn't want you to ruin your perfect attendance." Chifuyu smiles at me again, I can tell it's not a real smile though. Nonetheless, I agreed to meet up with Chifuyu later because he promised me he would send me their location straight away. Everything would be ok now though.

Oh, how wrong I could be...
