Chapter 34

1st POV:

We were interrupted as Pah-chin spoke up,

"Can you believe it, Hakkai? Mitsuya is annoyingly picky about his rooms!!" Pah-chin yelled.

"You can't give me a decent room that's why!" Takashi defended.

"I won't forgive you if you leave Taka-chan disappointed, okay Pah-chin-kun?" Hakkai said back to Pah-chin, "Oh! Guess what Taka-chan!?" He said turning to Takashi.

"Hmm, what?" He asked, looking up from his list.

"A boy... *cough Yamagishi cough* asked Y/N to date him again... But don't worry, I protected her! She even bought me meat buns." He glouted proudly, causing me to sigh, putting my head in my hands.

"That guy, he's never going to give it up, is he?" 

"Not unless I find him a girlfriend..." I sighed.

"Woah!! Y/N, find me a girlfriend too!" Hakkai yelled out.

"Me too!" Both Chifuyu and Peh-yan followed. Thankfully Hakkai got back on topic,

"Peh-yan can you search for a room for me too? Living with Yuzuha is tiring, she keeps on nagging!"

"Not a problem, I've got a list right here!" Peh-yan said as he scrolled through his computer.

"Ooooh! Lemme see it too!" Chifuyu said as he rushed over to Peh-yan, "Come take a look too, Takemitchy!" I stood still leaning behind the couch as I watch the boys all converse with each other when Pah-chin came over to Takashi.

"See there? This listing is good but it's way too small for..." Takashi paused glancing at me before turning his attention back to Pah-chin, "And this one is also good but it says here it's not suitable to be made as a workplace." 

"Huh? But why? Peh-yan! Tell me why is it not suitable!?" Pah-chin yelled over to Peh-yan.

"It's because I went and negotiated with the owner, and then he replied like that, understand!? Is your brain vacuum-packed, Pah-chin!" Peh-yan yelled at me.

"That's not a compliment!" Pah-chin yelled back, causing me to giggle at their bickering. 

"Hey! Y/N-chan, do you want to have a look too?" Peh-yan interrupted their argument looking at me. 

"Sure!" I smiled at him as he passed me a list of places. The rest of the boys all went awkward as I moved around the couch, sitting next to Takashi. "W-what? Do you guys not want me to look at places?" I said, looking between Takashi, Pah-chin and Hakkai. The boys all glanced between themselves until Takemichi called out,

"Chifuyu and I are going to get going. It was nice to see you all, thanks for letting me look at the rooms." 

"Wait for me! I'll come with you guys." Hakkai said.

"Uh-h I think I'll go as well..." I said as I handed the list to Pah-chin as I stood up. He glanced between me and Takashi nervously. I said a quick goodbye as I left the room quickly, catching up to Chifuyu who was walking ahead of everyone. Was it just me or were they all being weird...? No, they definitely were, especially Takashi. Did I do something to upset him?

"Is everything ok?" Chifuyu asked as we walked, pulling me out of my thought.

"Uhh, I don't know. Was it just me or were they being weird?" I asked him. Chifuyu gave me a nervous look before replying.

"Nah, they're always weird. Don't worry about it," Chifuyu reassured me as he patted me on the back.

"Do you think I make Takashi upset or something?" I asked nervously, ignoring his previous statement.

"Huh? Of course not Y/N! Who could ever be upset with you?!.. Hakkai! You're precious Taka-chan is upsetting my Y/N! You better tell him to make it up to her!" Chifuyu yelled turning to Hakkai.

"Huh? Your Y/N!? She belongs to Taka-chan, you ass!" He yelled back.

"Come on guys, stop it! Don't worry about it." I said as I turned away from their arguing and continued walking with Takemichi, "So... you missed your wedding with Hina-chan, huh?" I said as the two ignored the boys behind us. As Takemichi was about to answer someone called out.

"Wait!! Y/N!!" I turned behind me to see Takashi who was walking towards us.

"Taka-chan! Chifuyu is saying Y/N is his!" Hakkai said as he and Chifuyu held each other's collars.

"Mitsuya is the one who upset Y/N!!" Chifuyu yelled back as the two boys pulled back and forth between themselves.

I put my hands on both the boy's shoulders, glaring at them, "Stop fighting." Both boys let go of each other as all of us turned our attention to Takashi who had now caught up.

"I've gotta go to work now so let's walk together," He said, mostly directing his statement to me. I nodded my head as I looked to the ground and turn back to continue walking. Hakkai went up to Takashi grumbling, probably about Chifuyu as Chifuyu put his hand on my shoulder causing me to look up at him.

"Hey, don't look so sad, alright? You didn't upset anyone so cheer up!" Chifuyu spoke quietly as he smiled at me and pulled me into a side hug as we walked. Suddenly someone grabbed my shoulder pulling me backwards. My body collided into someone's chest and I looked up to see Takashi looking at Chifuyu and the two other boys.

"You guys walk ahead. I need to talk to Y/N," He stated. The three nodded as they continued walking. I stood with my back to Takashi's chest, as I watched him, watching the boys walk ahead before he tilted his head down to see me staring at him. I blushed as I averted my eyes forward and started walking in the direction the others were going. We've been dating for so long but seeing him still makes me blush. I must be crazy!! Stupid Takashi! Why does he have to be so perfect?! I glanced to my seeing that Takashi was walking next to me.

"So... um, what did you need to talk about?" I asked shyly. He turned to look at me and simply smiled.

"You worry too much," Was all he said as he brought his hand up patting my head.

"Huh?" I replied confused.

"You thought I was upset at you or something didn't you?" He said softly, "Silly Y/N..." Man, he knows really knows me well. 

"Yeah... You were just acting weirdly..." I answered truthfully, keeping my gaze on the ground as we walked.

"Yeah, I know. I was just nervous," Takashi stated, causing me to look up at him as he continued talking, "I- I was looking at rooms... big enough for the both of us and the others knew but- I never brought it up with you so... I just got kinda nervous about it." He admitted as he looked at me. I blushed bright red as I turned away from him. Takashi was looking for a place... for the both of us!!! Does that mean he wants to live with me?! I cleared my throat before I began speaking,

"Uh, n-next time, let's look together th-" I was cut off as Takashi had engulfed me in a hug.

"Ok!" he cheered, before he picked me up, swinging me around in his arms, causing me to giggle at his action. "I really am the luckiest guy," he smiled as he placed me back on the ground, grabbing my hand, "But what's this about Chifuyu calling you his? First that Yamagishi guy and now Chifuyu... I bet there are other guys too," Takashi grumbled as we walked along. 

"I guess you really will have to steal me then," I giggled at him.
