1st POV:
It had been a couple of weeks now since the future Takemichi had gone back. Not much had really changed though. I could tell Chifuyu really missed that Takemichi, they had become best friends and although he was still around the current Takemichi a lot, there was just something different. So I ended up spending a lot more time with him. He lost Keisuke and now part of Takemichi, and I guess I understood the loneliness he was feeling so I wanted to make him feel a little less alone. We had become practically inseparable.
We were on our way to see Takemichi when we stopped at a park, "What the hell is that guy doing?" I point to the weird guy punching hanging tyres in the rain. Chifuyu started walking towards the guy, making me follow because he was holding the umbrella.
"What are you doing?" Chifuyu asked the hooded person.
"Chifuyu! Y/N! What are you doing here?" Takemichi yelled, clearly startled but our sudden appearance.
"What are you... We were on our way to see you but we saw a weirdo fighting a wheel." Chifuyu answered.
"Talking with a tyre wheel under this rain, that's totally creepy," I say, making a weird face at Takemichi.
"Shut your mouth!!" Takemichi yells out in defence, "I'm busy!!! I'm not playing around here."
"Hm? What are you talking about?" Chifuyu asked. Takemichi went back to punching the tyre as he talked,
"I'm training. I have to get stronger than anyone!!! No matter what. If I don't get stronger the future won't change!"
"... Uh.. You're... the Takemitchy of the future..." Chifuyu spoke my thoughts.
Takemichi told us how everyone was dead and that Mikey was the one who killed them. He said it was all his fault... because he left Toman and everyone protected him when Mikey didn't want him to leave. Chifuyu tried to get Takemichi to stop punching the tyres as his hands had become busted up and were bleeding, but he was crazy, obsessed with wanting to become stronger. Chifuyu threw Takemichi on the ground and he finally cracked, he cried about holding Mikey in his arms as he died. Chifuyu went and sat next to him as I watch the two,
"What a fucked future, but to be honest it makes me happy. I mean we were able to meet again. I didn't think we were going to meet again." Chifuyu smiled at Takemichi as he, being the crybaby hero, began crying. I let them have their moment before speaking up.
"This time Takemichi...when we change the future, make sure you say goodbye to me too, you big dummy" I smiled as I hugged him, "I'm sorry you had to deal with that on your own in the future. But I wanna know, where am I in the future? Did I die like everyone else?"
"Yeah... you got killed too. I think it was more an accident, you know, wrong place, wrong time. You were with- Uh never mind. It doesn't matter. Plus I wouldn't want to spoil your future for you." Takemichi says, "And I'm sorry for not saying goodbye to you." We were all silent for a moment before Takemichi spoke up,
"Until I become Toman's number one I won't come back to the future... This is my last 'revenge'."
Chifuyu had taken Takemichi to a sento (A public/communal bath) so I decided to head home. As I walked home I came across some graffiti on the wall. Woah... That dragon looks a lot like the one that Draken has tattooed on his head.
"It's still here..." I turn my head in the direction of the voice, "The twin dragons."
"Huh? Y/N-chan is that you?" a second voice speaks and I walk closer to the two figures.
"Draken. Takashi. What are you guys doing here?" I ask.
"I should be asking you the same. Why are you here Y/N? I thought you were with Chifuyu and Takemitchy." Mitsuya says to me, gently grabbing my shoulders and giving me a once over, checking if I was ok.
"I'm fine. I was with Chifuyu and Takemichi but they went to the baths so I decided to go home." I replied.
"They didn't take you home! Do they know how late it is!" I giggled at Takashi's response,
"Geez, it's not that late dad." Draken laughed in response to my comment.
"Come on Y/N-chan, he's just worried about his wifey," Draken said with a teasing smirk,
"I- I'm not- his-" I tripped over my words, covering my face so the boys didn't see my blush. "Uh- did you paint that Draken-kun?" I settled for changing the conversations, turning around looking at the dragon.
"I did," Takashi spoke up. I turned to face him, noticing he was blushing slightly.
"You did? Why does Draken-kun have it tattooed?" I asked, looking between the two boys.
"Well Mitsuya painted and we made a trade so that I could have the dragon but then we both ended up getting it tattooed on our heads," Draken answered.
"Wait... You have a tattoo?!" I asked Takashi. He shyly rubbed his neck,
"Yeah, on my head like Draken... The twin dragons."
"Wahhh... Why didn't you tell me? No way! I wanna see it." I said as I grabbed Takashi head and turned it in my direction. I rubbed my hand through his hair, "It's this side, right?" I asked Takashi.
"Uhh, yeah-h." He replied. as I stood on my tippy-toes to try and get closer to his head, trying to see the tattoo through his hair.
"Alright. Stop flirting you two. I'm still here you known. Geez, let me leave first before you do that." Draken teased as he walked to where I assume they had parked their bikes.
"I- I'm not flirting!" I yell as I let go of Takashi and start running towards Draken but Takashi grabs my hand before I get out of reach. I turn my head back to him but he was averting his gaze from mine. I end up doing the same as I blush. We stand there, holding hands, not looking at each other and Draken yells out again as he starts up his bike,
"Better get your wifey home, Mitsuya!" He rides off before either of us can say anything in reply. Takashi pulls on my hand as he starts walking again. He turns to me and I can see a faint blush on his cheeks,
"I'll take you home."
