Chapter 18

So I have pretty much given up with the spoiler warnings so...

1st POV:

Not so long after I had arrived home there was a knock on my door. I opened it to see Chifuyu and Takemichi, "Hey guys come on in." As the boys walked inside I could tell from the tension that they had been arguing about something, "Did something happen?" Chifuyu scowled in Takemichi's direction and sighed,

"Do you want to explain it to her or do you want me to?" Chifuyu asked Takemichi. Takemichi looked at me nervously before speaking,

"Hakkai is going to kill Taiju, but Toman won't help. So Kisaki offered to help us deal with Taiju." Takemichi looked at me nervously as I stood shocked,

"You guys are going to work with Kisaki?! But Keisuke- isn't..." I sighed, my thoughts all jumbled, "Why?" I finally manage to ask.

"We can't do it by ourselves and Kisaki is the only one that is offering to help. Plus because of the truce, Mitsuya made with Taiju, Toman isn't allowed to get involved so we can't tell anyone about it." Takemichi explained,

"Okay... so why did you come here? Does Kisaki have a plan?" I ask

"Well, Taiju will be alone on Christmas so we think Hakkai will try to kill him then so we are going to stop him. And we came to get your opinion before we agree because well.. your also our partner." Takemichi said. It made me smile that the boys thought of me,

"Hmmm well, we don't have any other choice, do we? But I don't think we should trust Kisaki." I said. The boys agreed and the three of us went to meet Kisaki. 

"Ah jeez. Got no luck with the ladies this Christmas again!" Chifuyu grumbles as we walk along to the place we were meeting Kisaki, "You're lucky you got a girlfriend, you know that Takemitchy? What's so fun about meetin' up with dudes to beat up some other dudes at Christmas...?" I chuckle at Chifuyu as he sulks,

"I'll be there, won't I? So you'll technically be with one girl." I smile at him as he blushes and averts his gaze to the ground, 

"Wait... Y/N you can't come!" Chifuyu yells out,

"Huh? Why can't I? You guys got me involved in this so I get to be there. I won't fight just let me be there so if something happens I can call for backup or something." Chifuyu sighed, 

"Fine. Alright then. But if I tell you to leave you, have to listen to me." 

"That didn't take long," Kisaki said as we approach, "Got an answer for me?"

"We'll work together with you 'til Christmas is over!" Takemichi stated as the five of us began talking.

Timeskip

The night before the battle the five of us agreed to meet. I arrived at the cafe with Chifuyu to see Kisaki and Hanma waiting at a table for us, it looked like Takemichi wasn't here yet.

Eventually, he arrived, with red swollen eyes, "What happened to your face?" Chifuyu asked, Takemichi just chuckled awkwardly.

Kisaki ran through the plan. Taiju would be alone at Udagawa Christian Church late at night to pray so that was the most likely time that Hakkai would strike. Hakkai would probably arrive before Taiju and wait inside the chapel. We were going to wait outside the chapel and Takemichi would go in and try to reason with Hakkai while the rest of us would wait outside to beat Taiju before he could go in.

We had split up from Kisaki and Hanma by now and Chifuyu was trying to comfort Takemichi, in his own way. I guess it worked because Takemichi looked fired up.
