Skylar

I walked into the house after a long day at school. The first thing I did was unbuckle my bra, pull it out of my sweatshirt, and launch it somewhere behind me, like I did everyday.

"Whoa, Hudson. You move fast." A voice said from behind me.

I screamed and turned around, launching my phone at them, "Who the fu-"

Oh. It was just Lukas.

"What the hell are you doing here, Lukas? In. My. House." I glared. He hated me, I knew that. And yes, I hated him. He was irresponsible, stupid-beyond-repair, and kind of a man slut.

He slowly got off the couch, my bra still in his hand, and moved slowly towards me.

"Calm down, Hudson. I just need a favor." He hands my bra back to me and stands there, still.

"What do you need? For me to dispose of a body? Because I already know that the answer to anything you're going to ask me is no."

"Oh come on! You don't even know what I was going to ask!"

"Whatever. The answer is no." I turned around and walked up the stairs.

"I'm going to follow you, no matter what. Let me just ask the question."

"And you're still talking. You could have asked the question WHENEVER THE FUCK YOU WANTED."

"You're right. So if you don't mind, I'm just going to as-"

"ASK AWAY!"

"I need a place to stay. For a little while. I know we're not on the best terms-" I laughed bitterly,

"Right, we're on bad terms. But I need a place to stay. My parents are in Mexico or Long Island or somewhere."

"So why didn't you go to one of your home boys?" I asked angrily, changing my shirt without letting him see anything.

"In all truth, I did go to one of them. I realized that it's was mistake. So now I'm here."

"Well, you'll have to stick around and ask my parents. I'm sure they won't give a damn." I walked out of the room, being followed by him once again.

"Skylar, I'm home! Where is your mother?" My dad called, dropping his coat and stood there. I ran over to him and hugged him.

"Hey dad. Mom's not here. But I have to ask you a ques-"

"Who is that, Skylar?" Dad demanded, looking at Lukas.

"Um, dad, you've met Lukas before. He's Christian and Coleman's frien-"

"Christian and I are not friends."

"Fine. Cole's friend. I was wondering if he could stay in the extra bedroom until his parents come back from Mexico or Long Beach or something."

"This is majorly confusing. But, let's wait until your mother gets home. He can stay until we decide." I nodded, hugging dad and running back up to where Lukas was leaning over the railing of the stairs.

"Thanks dad."

"Uh huh." We watched my dad disappear into his bedroom. I turned to look at Lukas and pushed him towards the stairs.

"Don't let me fall!"

"Then don't just stand there like you're safe!"

"What is going on?" My mom asked from the bottom of the stairs. "Why is he here? I thought you guys hated each other."

"Yeah, we don't like each other, but I owe him a favor."

"Ewww." I felt my face heat up.

"NOT LIKE THAT, MOM!!!" I breathed and glared at her face, "Can he stay here until his parents come back from Mexico or Long Island or somewhere?"
