Brian
"I want to meet your dad." I said with sudden confidence. I had a glimpse at Nick Patterson, but never a full conversation with him.
Nick looked like the type of guy who would crush you in a matter of seconds... I didn't want to be crushed. I don't look good flat.
"You want to meet my dad?" Briana asked, intertwining her fingers with mine. I kissed her head and smiled.
"Yeah. I feel like that's a priority. I mean, we've been dating for how long? Three weeks. And I haven't met your dad yet." She shrugged.
"I didn't think you wanted to." I sucked in my breath.
"Well I do."
"Great. You can meet him today. How about after school? He's coming to pick me up." I smiled fakely. The nerves were back and the confidence was long gone.
"That's sounds good. Just... make sure that he doesn't have a shot gun or anything." My love laughed and wrapped her arms around my neck.
"You're amazing."

"Hey girly. Hope in." Nick Patterson said, pulling up in his pick up truck. He looked over at me, behind his aviators, "Who's this?"
"Hey dad. This is Brian."
"Your Brian?" She nodded, getting in and scooting over to the middle. He ruffled her hair and handed her a pair of sunglasses from the top of the car. I got in and set next to Briana.
She leaned over and planted a kiss on my cheek just as her dad started driving. Oh lord.
Well this is awkward.
We drove and drove until we stopped at a house. I just realized that I have never been to Briana's house.
"Remember the rules, Bri. No doors shut. I'll be in the garage." He looked at me once more, "Will you be staying for dinner?"
"Yes, he wil-"
"The boy can speak for himself, can't he?" I nodded.
"Yes sir, if it's alright, of course." I gulped. Nick smirked at my uneasiness.
"No burden, whatsoever." And then he left.
That.
Was.
Hell.
Briana grabbed my hand, "Come on, Bry. Let's gooooo." I was still shocked. Yep, her dad scared me.
We walked up to Briana's room, her pointing out random things and showing me around until we reached her room. She pushed open the door and oh wow.
Briana's room was pretty big, she had a bed in one corner, with a long dresser against the opposite wall. At the foot of her bed, there was a blue and black desk with folders and papers all over it. Above the desk she had a mini collage with pictures of her and I, along with Skylar, Megan, and some others. The walls were also a pale blue, with band posters covering most of them. A few of them I recognized as Black Veil Brides, Motley Crue Nickelback, for some reason One Direction, and Blood on the Dance Floor, two of which have visited the school. There were also some I didn't recognize, Falling in Reverse, Escape The Fate, Sleeping With Sirens, Pierce The Veil and some others for example.
"Brian? You're spacing out. Are you okay?" Bri asked. I turned around and smiled, pulling her to me and kissing her softly. I loved her so much.
"Nothing. You're just amazing. That's all." She beamed. I looked around her room at all the posters again, "So what are these bands?" She jumped up excitedly, racing over to her computer.
