Ryan

"Come on! Get it in Jefferson!" Skylar cheered. I smiled, leaning back.

"Almost! Damn." Brian growled. It looked rather hard, standing on a table. But then again... I wouldn't know.

"You can do it baby!" Briana stood next to Skylar, being his own personal cheerleader.

"What is he doing?" Coleman asked, dropping his bag on the ground and sitting by Skylar.

There was something different about Skylar and Coleman. I mean, they used to hate each other. Hardcore hate. Like, "I'm gonna be then end of you," hate. Now they were almost friends. Something about that pissed me off more than it should have.

"He's playing carrot toss. Bri and I made it up long ago." Sky snickered. I figured out that this was the game they were playing in Sophomore year when eye were chucking bags of carrots towards the ceiling.

"Oh cool." Coleman rested his arm on Sky's shoulder and I growled.

What. The. Hell. Was. He. Doing. !!!

The bell rang and Skylar pushed him off to begin packing.

"Oi! What the hell, Hudson?" He teased, hugging her around the waist.

I pushed him off and glared at him.

"Stop it, Young." I growled and grabbed Sky gently away from him and into my arms.

"Jeez. Okay Ryan." He grabbed his backpack and walked off, leaving us here alone, since Brian and Briana left and so did whoever else was around.

"Are you okay?" Skylar said in a small voice, still wrapped in my arms. I pulled her back.

"Yeah. Sorry. Shall we go?" I replied. She smiled at me and picked up her backpack. We had English next. Man, I sucked at English. But she didn't.

We were sitting in class and all of a sudden I heard a giggle beside me. I looked over to see Skylar holding her phone to her stomach and covering her mouth.

I smirked, "What are you laughing at?" I whispered. She shook her head and locked her phone. I grabbed it from her, typed in her password and looked at her messages.

Sent from Coleman.

-exactly y ur the girl and im not-

I seethed and locked her phone again, handing it back to her, "Maybe you shouldn't text in class. You don't wanna get caught."

"Okay?" She placed her phone in her backpack and turned back to me, "Are you okay, Ryan? You've been kinda edgy."

"It's nothing," I lied, "I'm fine. Perfectl-"

"NOT PERFECT!" She giggled.

"Fine. I'm awesome fine. Better?" I smiled secretly, trying to look annoyed.

"Extremely... Even though you don't make one bit of sense." She teased. I rolled my eyes, "You haven't even began the assignment, Ryan!" Skylar scolded.

I looked at my paper. We were suppose to answer questions and write a summary about Romeo and Juliet.

"I don't understand. They like each other, make out in a pool, get illegally married, Romeo kills her cousin, Juliet fakes her own death to get out of marriage (which sounds like a great idea), Romeo kills himself, she kills himself, the parents realize that fighting is stupid. The end." I rambled, summarizing up the play. Skylar rolled her eyes and scowled at me.;

"You're hopeless. Do you need help?"

"Yeah... I think so." She sighed.

"Want to come over after track today? I'll help you with this. Keep in mind, reading the book will actually help you with this."
