Lukas

Megan and I had been dating for two weeks and we still hadn't gone on a date. Which kinda ticked me off because I wanted to give her everything she ever wanted.

"Megan." I said out loud, trying not to let my thoughts slip from my mouth.

"Hmm?" She asked, looking over at me from her laptop.

Megan was just the most perfect person in the world to me.

"I wanna take you out on a date."

"A what?" Now I had her full attention. I just loved the confusion in her voice. Just like the word 'date' wasn't in my vocabulary.

"A date. You know, where two people go out together and get to know each other." Meg blinked at me.

"I know what a date is, Luka. I just, well, we know everything about each other. Why go out on a date?"

"Don't question me. Friday night, 8:00 pm. Be waiting and I'm picking you up."

"Omg, Iike, how do I dress?" She asked sarcastically. I rolled my eyes.

"Just dress casually."

"You're a dork." Megan slid over and kissed me before returning to typing on her laptop.

"I know." I stood up and kissed her before walking out of the room. I dialed Skylar's number and grabbed my bag.

"Ello?"

"Skylar, I'm gonna be waiting at the diner. I don't care what you're doing, meet me there in five minutes."

"What's wrong?" The worry in her voice made me worried, but I brushed it off.

"Just do it. It's really important."

"Skylar, who are you talking to?" I heard Ryan's voice in the background.

"It's no one." I heard her reply before clearing her throat. "I'll be right there." She said to me.

"Right, tell Ryan I said hi." I chuckled.

"Fuck you, Lukas." I hung up and peeked back into Megan's bedroom.

"Megan?" She was moving her head along to, I think it was AC/DC.

"Yeah?"

"I've gotta go do something for my mom but I'll be right back." She stood up.

"Do you want me to come with you?" I shook my head.

"It's just a really quick thing and I'll be right back."

"Okay. I'll be here. And," Megan walked towards me and wrapped her arms around me, "Can you pick up some candy stuffs?" I smiled at her.

"I'll try to fit it into my schedule." She scowled.

"Bye Luka."

"Bye." I turned and left, grabbing my keys and making my way to the car.

I drove to the diner and sat in a booth until Skylar walked in the door. She stood next to my table with her hands on her waist.

"What. Do. You. Want?" She hissed.

"Nice to see you too, Hudson. Sorry I ruined an evening with your perfect boyfriend."

"We're not dating, Lukas. We're just studying."

"It's a weekend. Why study on a weekend?" She waved her hands, trying to avoid the situation and sat down.

"What do you want, Lukas?"
