My Odd Family

I snuggled deeper into my pillow, sighing happily. It was a quiet morning. All I was missing was my fiancee in my bed.

"Hey mommy," Ryan said happily and quietly near the door.

I looked up to see Ryan, fully dressed in his usual black jeans and tee shirt, with my babies beside him. Jace was rocking a BVB band tee with blue skinny jeans on. Emma had on a tee shirt that was way too big for her that said #youwish (cutesy of Auntie Briana) and a pair of short shorts.

"Look what Jace  can do." Ry pressed a button on his iPod, turning on the karaoke version of Girls. Girls. Girls.

"A. B. C. D. E. F. G. H. I. J. K. L. M. N. O. P. Q. R. S. T. U. V. W. X. Y. an Z. Now I know my ABCzzz, next time won't you sing with me!" Jace sang to the beat of the awesome Motley Crue song.

I blinked. It was way too early for functional use, obviously.

"Mommy? Do you like it?" Jace asked, crawling into the bed next to me. I smiled and wrapped my arms around him.

"Of course baby, it was awesome. Mommy's just sleepy," I yawned, looking at Ry. "Who taught you that?" I saw Skittles' expression change to a huge smile on his face and a giant glint in his eyes.

Jace pointed to my love, "Daddy did."

"Did he really? I didn't think he could do something as awesome as that." I teased.

"And we have another surprise for you, mommy." Emma spoke up, pulling Ry out of the room. Jace jumped excitedly in his seat on the bed as they walked in with one of my cookie sheets, "Tada!" Emma squeaked.

Ry sat the tray down on my lap, revealing an entire breakfast.

There were cut up strawberries, three slices of toast, some scrambled eggs, turkey bacon, and a cup of coffee.

"Oh my goodness. Did you guys really make all of this?" I asked them excitedly. They both nodded.

I opened my arms, allowing them to hug me.

"Enjoy." Jace said, running out of the room and trailing his sister behind him. I shook my head, holding my arms open inviting my love into my arms.

"Thank you." I whispered. Skittles kissed me and sat on the bed. I began eating, watching him pick up a piece of toast off of my plate and eat it.

"Love you!" He said with a full mouth. I slapped his shoulder.

"One, don't talk with your mouth full. Two, that's my toast and I believe our children made that for moi." He rolled his eyes, swallowing.

"Exactly. OUR children. Meaning, it's a joint partnership. Everything you get, I get fair share." He smirked. Now it was time for me to roll my eyes.

"Right baby."

We continued to eat MY breakfast. Pretty awesome way to wake up, if I do say so myself.

"Right class, who can tell me what performance The Phantom wrote for Christene to be the lead of?" I asked hopefully. We. Had. Just. Fucking. Read. This. "He presented it at the masquarade!"

A girl raised her hand, "Don Juan Triumphs?"

"Yes! Great Mia!" I turned to the class, "Come on guys, we just read this. It's not that hard to rememb-"

"It's hard to remember when you're teaching, Sky." A new voice said, walking in the room.

"What are you doing here, Coleman? I'm teaching a class." I growled in a low voice. He walked in, causing all of the female students... and perhaps a few of the male students to swoon. I know for a fact that the 'majorly out' gay guy was visibly swooning. Coleman responded by winking at Todd.
