After Leo had made Elizabeth some light food. He went on to work, but since he couldn't concentrate on anything as his mind kept going on about Elizabeth's health. He was worried about leaving her alone, even though they were practically in the same space. To ease his mind, he decided to work from the bedroom, that way he could watch over the sleeping Elizabeth.

So here he was, sitting on the couch, and analysing through the emails when she stirred in her sleep. His eyes lingered longer than necessary, just looking at her was enough for him. Ever now and then, he would steal glances at her. It seemed that, working around the same room as her wasn't helping. He was distracted, and it bothered him. Because Leo wasn't the type of man to get easily distracted, especially by a woman.

He leaned his back on the couch, with his elbow propped up on the armrest. His gaze refused to waver from her. He found her so fascinating. She was beautiful inside and out. Selfless and so innocent. He doesn't know when his feelings for her came to be, but there was no denying that they took control of his mental health now. He hadn't even slept with the woman yet, so how was it possible to feel so obsessed with her.

Usually for him, one night with a woman was enough. After that he never saw them again. All those women were clingy and annoyed him. They were thin, and very much tall. That was his type before, the type that had money and loved fame. Models with high quality. But now, looking at Elizabeth, it felt like he's been living a lie his whole life. Maybe it explained why he never saw anything more than sex with the other women. She was so different from his usual type of girl.

She was thick, short and sweet. She was warm and welcoming. He wondered if she was like this with everyone else beside him. Did she smile when she was cooking while humming to a song for anyone else. Did she look at anyone else the way she looked at him. The thought gave him chills, and his cold heart yearned for blood. It was just a matter of time till the Brandon guy was underground or better yet, cremated. To him, no one else was worth seeing her smile like that except him.

He was possesive over her. Something he has never felt for any woman. Thinking about how she had suffered from her home. His blood boiled. He wanted to protect her from everything and everyone that threatened harm to her. Even a little fly passing by, if it as much as bothered her, it was dead.
Betty: You should wear sweatpants often. You look good in them.
He was so lost in thoughts that he didn't even hear her wake up. Her voice sounded so hoarse.

Leo: How are you feeling?
He put his laptop aside and stood up, walking close to his bed. Betty tried to sit up and this time she succeeded.
Betty: It doesn't hurt to move anymore. I guess the medication helped. But my insides still feel hot.
Leo looked conflicted. He had told the stupid Dr, in fact he had threatened him to make sure she wakes up feeling completely healed.
Leo: I will make sure he never works in any hospital again.

Now what was he to do. He was no Dr. And definitely didn't know anything about taking care of a sick person. He had done the little he knew. Cooking soup and calling a Dr. And that was about that.
Betty: Come lay with me.
She patted the empty space on the side of the bed. Leo looked at her and at the space. He was hesitant to. Because he didn't want to hurt her. She was still sick and he needed to tread cautiously.

Betty: I don't bite. And I'm not that fragile.
She patted it again to emphasize her point. Leo climbed on the bed, getting under the covers and laying his head on her lap. Honestly, he didn't mind if she did bite. She stroked his hair, soothingly. It was so calming and serene being in her presence.
Leo grunted in pleasure, closing his eyes. Last thing he saw before he closed them was her beautiful smile.
Betty: Do you like that?
He grunted again. She chuckled. His words had gotten stuck in his throat. The effect her fingers that smoothed through his silk hair had on him was high.

Betty: Don't overwork yourself. I don't like it.
He opened his eyes, looking up at her. She looked serious about her words. He just looked at her, a little surprised that she felt like that for him. Remembering Snakes' words. When you hurt, she'll be in more excruciating pain. Because seeing the person she loves suffering in anguish is her weakness.
Leo: Does seeing me in pain hurt you?
He needed an answer and her words held so much importance to him.

Betty: I don't know about that, but I don't like it. It makes me feel uncomfortable and weirdly upset.
She chuckled. She looked away from his eyes, smiling a little. He waited for her to go on;
Betty: I guess you can say it does pain me to see you in discomfort.
She looked back at him. Even sick, she looked breathtakingly beautiful.
Betty: So, promise to take some rest?
He nodded, going back to relaxing in her touch.

Snakes: Lilly I swear-
He blasted through his office door with a stern look. One thing he didn't like, was being summoned. She did not just summon him but also disrupted his time with his family. If a problem surfaced at work, it was her job to find solutions to it when he wasn't around. If she couldn't do that, then the job didn't suit her. It was time Lillian, stopped behaving like his old friend.

Snakes: What the fuck?
Lillian stood there, leaning on the table with nothing but an open coat on.
Lilly: Took you long enough.
He was perplexed, but mostly he was angry. Lillian clearly hadn't called regarding work. And he cursed himself for believing she called relatively to work. How stupid of him to not ask what the matter was. But what was he to do when he put his trust on his assistant.
Snakes: What the fuck is this Ms Jones.
Lilly: Formalities, come on Snaky, it's just the two of us.

Lillian straightened up, standing on fully. She was stark naked now as she dropped the coat to the floor. Snakes glared at her, but she seemed unfazed. He suspected that she had some feelings for him, but he never knew she would act on them, and especially not in this way. Lilly took slow paces towards him. He couldn't move. It was as if he was paralyzed in the same stance. But as soon as she grabbed his manhood, he came out of the trance.

Lilly: How about a birthday present. You know, from me to your little guy down there.
Snakes preyed her hands off his shaft, that was unwillingly getting hard. He hated himself for even getting aroused by this. It felt like a betrayal to his wife.
Snakes: If you don't get dressed right this minute and get the fuck out of my building, I'll put a bullet through your skull.
His threat seemed to evaporate into nothingness. Because Lilly, full on attacked his lips. Her hold firm.

Next thing, Lilly was on the floor holding her red cheek. He had slapped her. Against everything he believed in, he abused a woman. But what was he supposed to do. She was sexually assaulting him.
Snakes: Get dressed, and get out. You have sixty seconds.
He turned to leave the office. It was better he left before he did something more, like splashing her brains all over the walls of his office.

Lilly: You mine and if I can't have you, no one else will.
He didn't get a chance to digest what she said or make sense of it before his head was smashed with a heavy metal. The sound of the impact echoed through his head. The pain was pounding. His vision quivered. Everything seemed to be fading into vacuum. Clutching on the handle of the door, he lost his balance and fell down with a loud thud. Although his eyes were fighting to shut down, he could still make out Lillian's face hovering over him.

Lilly: I even shaved for you.
She tormented. He groaned, the pain getting hard to bear. He knew he didn't have much before he fell into unconsciousness.
Snakes: You stupid bitch!
He spat venomously, then lights were off for him. He couldn't have missed the smirk on Lilly's face.
