A Witches Battle - Part one

I turned I released a pulse of air magic that sliced the flying wooden stool in half, it dropped to the floor with a loud thud. My magic unless to do with animals doesn't seem to get any better. I let a single tear fall before picked up the stool pieces and began cleaning the messy shop.

I will never become the greatest witch. I had fallen asleep on the sofa not long after clearing the shops floor and making it look more presentable, sitting up a let out a large yawn and headed intot he kithen. I pulled out the two stones and placed themin a small bowl on the side notcing that the colours had grown still and dull.

My mind wondered to the days before events as I made m way up the stairs for morning routine, stairs my head began to go heavy, grabbing onto the banister for support i sat down. the memories of yesterday was pulled from my brain, tears began to spill from my eyes.

please don't take these away from me to... once the pain had faded the only memory had was that i had done something fun and interesting yesterday. where was it i went again? did i meet someone? my brain was so blurry. i stood back up shacking my head and wiping my face.

Why was I crying? Shacking it off I headed into my room to get washed and dressed. After i was done headed downstairs, popping the kettle on for tea I then picked up the stack of books in the corner and placed the dusty books on the table. as i sat down to begin my reading, a smooth angelic voice piped up outside the door.

"Luna Dearie, It's me Ms Copper." i jumped up and instantly opened the door for her, i gave her a swift hug and moved away holing the door for her to come in. once she entered the property I closed the door and put on the kettle.

"Good morning Ms Copper. how are you?" she sat down at the table and blessed me with a small smile.

"I'm good thank you, how are you this morning? doing a little studying i see." i nodded as i pour the tea and handed her a cup.

"Yes thought I'd improve my magic on my day off, you're up early today everything okay?" she gave me a large grin, and handed me a big puffy brown envelope.

"Happy Birthday My little garden Rose." i looked at her stunned and gently took the envelope. Opening it the words read.

Dear Miss Luna Estelle Rose,

It is with great joy to me to, advise you that you application for Hydro Magic Academy is accepting you. you have an official place at the Hydro academy and your beginning date is the 5th October 2020.

i stared at the letter in shock as Ms copper placed a Box on the table it held the uniform of my dream school. i got up, slowly walking around the table and gave my guardian a large hug. she let out a small chuckle.

"I need to call Hannah!" I gasped gripping the letter, she nodded and waiting paitently for me to finish. "Call Hannah." there was rhythmic tune before she picked up.

"dude, really? it's too early in the morning." she looked tired but better then yesterday when she came and saw me.

"i know, i know. I'm sorry but look at this." i picked up the uniform showing her briefly and went into the bathroom, emerging 5 minutes later i wore a white shirt with a red tie around the collar, a light blue blazer and a black cape withe red underlining. i wore the black skirt with over the knee socks and black kitten heels shoes.

"oh my goodness is that the uniform i think it is?!" Hannah squeaked sounding more excited than i felt.

"fits you like a glove dear." i smiled at Ms copper when the doors burst open revealing, me and Ms copper looked over started but it was only a crying Hannah at the doors entrance. She passed me a small box, i opened the pick patterned paper to see a beautiful ted baker shoulder bag. I gave her a large hug.

"Hey, hey. Let me go dude." I let her go and giggled. I grabbed my suitcase from the loft and Hannah helped me pack up most of my belongings. Once we were finished we sat down with Ms Copper and had a conversation with her about all sorts of things.

She told us tales of her child hood while we listened intently to them. She too once had a wizard as a best friend and she told us about their adventures. Later on in the night she cooked us dinner, As I was leaving tomorrow Hannah slept over for the night with me and after dinner we cleaned up. We walked Ms Copper down the hill and back home seeing she made it safely there before heading back home ourselves and heading to bed.
