Jacob walked had steadied out when we hit a small grassy field littered with groups of students, It genially was not a small field but the sun and breeze made it feel like home all the same.

Jacobs hand was still wrapped lightly around my wrist as I stood there taking in the view. I slowly looked down out our hands and i felt him tense slightly before letting go, he turned o me as though it never happened.

He was silent for a moment, gaining my reaction to the lovely sight he had put in place, I sat down and oont sift groan and hummed in approvel. "This feels amazing Jacob."

I let out a groan as I stretched my arms out taking in the sun, i heard him chuckle and sit beside me leaning back on his hands. The sky was a light clear blue, with only minimal white fluffy clouds in the sky. The light summer breezes was refreshing as it traced down my bare arms.

Jacobs melody like voices sang over the gentle rustles of the tree's green leaves. "This is the student courtyard, this is where most student will spend free time and lunch time. Rarely they will hold the odd class out here for magic practice but that's usually dedicated tot he hall."

"The hall we just came from?" I asked remember the grand building. shook his head, I looked at him puzzled, he let out a light chuckle.

"I would show you but it is currently holding a class right now." I nodded my head once and closed my eyes allowing the rays of sun to cascade on my face.

"Ready to go to our next place?" He ask standing up, he held a hand out for me. I looked at it before looking back up at him with a sad face.

"Mind if we take a little break?" I watched him sigh and look at me with a are you serious look

"You planning on taking a nap on the grass aren't you?" I chuckled a little bit, it's mad that he when that already. I took his hand as he helped me up onto my feet.

"saw right through it didn't you." I scratched the back of my neck smiling sheepishly at him as the other students nosily went about there day.

"You really need to stop that habit Luna, It's extremely dangerous. This is not the country side, you don't know everyone here so you can't just blindly trust people." he lectured I looked at him with my left eyebrow up.

"I blindly trusted you and it worked out well." I backfired, the annoyance growing in me.

"You got lucky Luna that's it but I can't be around all the time, it's not always safe!" he continued, I rolled my eyes and shifted from one foot to another listening to him babble on.

"I get that it feels good, trust me I do but that doesn't mean that it is safe and I want you to stay safe so please..." he almost sounded broken. I realised he wasn't even looking at me anymore. My heart a little heavy with the broken expression carved into his face.

"Please be more careful with you life." that was the last of it, I knew he was finished with the defeated voices he had pushed out.

I let out my own defeated sigh, "I promise I will be more careful from now on." I gave him a reassuring smile that seemed to perk him up a little.

"Thank you," he practically whispered. His face still had the hint of sadness on it, "alright then lets-" his sentence was interrupted by his name begin called.

I looked over towards the school to see two men walking towards us the first slightly in front. he had tanned skin, large muscles with a tattoo down his left shoulder. he was a fur jacket and had the brightest blue eyes and dyed silver hair I had ever seen.

the second was smaller in height and muscle mass, he had short spike black hair and also had vibrant blue eyes. he slugged lightly behind his friend and looked dis interested in everything even us.

"shit." I heard Jacob mutter, he came closure to me and partly stood in front almost creating a barrier between me and them.

"W-who are they?" I felt the fear begin to run through my veins, Jacob never acted like this.

"The Ryleigh twins." was all he said as they stopped in front of us. the boys looked from me to jacob and back to me.

"Jay, are you not going to introduce us yto your... little girlfriend." I watched him smirk down at me, I took a step back but Jacob hand caught mine causing me to stand still.

"Luna, this is Chase Ryleigh." he nodded tot he lager one and then tot he second one "and Blake Ryleigh." the smaller boy looked me up and down before nodding.

"Lunesta." was all chase said as I was suddenly pulled form Jacob towards Chase. his right arm wrapped around my waist trapping me against him as his left hand trapped my chin with this thumb and index finger lifting my face to look at him.

"I have heard a lot about you... My you are gorgeous." I felt the soft growl in his chest, from the corner of my eye I could see Blake keeping Jacob away from me and suddenly I was free.

"Now that is not way to treat a lady." relief flooded my veins when the familiar voice of Lucas was brought to my attention.

I was safely back behind Jacob with Draco as an added layer of protection. Elliott and Lucas either side of us. "I think you should apologise to Luna." Elliott said, he had adopted Kyles tone for a moment.

I watched as Chase growled like a wild beast and stepped forwards only to stop and relax, I wasn't until I heard his voice I realised why.

"are you okay?" I turned to smile at the beast, forgetting that not one else could hear him and that they all feared him..

"I am fine griffin." I heard someone take a step forwards, noticing chase a little closure. Griffin placed a scaly claw on my shoulder and let out the most blood retching screech.

I watched chase and black take a step back, Lucas, Elliott and Draco looked utterly shocked but Jacob was not fazed. chase tsked.

"We'll be back." he threatened only to turn tail and run when Griffin got on all fours and growled like the wild creature he actually is. I gigled a little. the boys looked at me like I was made.

"I think it's nice have a Class A demon on our side." I shrugged, the boys shook there head. giving Griffin a hug he head back out to do his job and I looked at Jacob with a smile.

"Okay, Now lets get going." I laughed and he agreed with a relieved sigh. I thanked and said good by to each of the boys with a hug and followed Jacob who had already started waling away
