I woke up to the sound of Beth rattling around the bedroom, sitting up I rubbed my eyes and looked at her. She froze and looked back at me like a deer in headlights, she gave me a cheeky smile and a little wave. i shook my head chuckling a little, I stood up and stitched groaning.

"Morning Liz." I yawned out, she dropped her clothes on her already made bed and began to get dressed, while I paid no attention and started my morning get ready routine.

It was my first day at the new school and I was a little nervous but over all excited, I wanted to find out as soon as possible what class I would be and and make new friends. Even though I secretly hope to be with Liz.

"Morning Lu, sorry if I woke you. I have an early class to attend so I was trying to get dress quietly but I dropped my stuff." I chuckled at her and got dressed myself before heading into the bathroom brushing my teeth.

"It's fine I want to get everything ready before I have to get to class." i smiled at her as my alarm started to go off. She chuckled as I rinsed my mouth out and entered the bedroom turning it off, Sighing I headed back into the bathroom to finish getting ready as she slipped out the door saying goodbye.

A few minutes after the first my next alarm rang, with a laugh I turned that off as well and grabbed my school bag containing my pens, note book and spell books for todays classes. I left the room making sure the door was lock before heading down.

I entered the same entrance way as last night and said good bye to our dorm mother, who was sat this time behind the desk readinig a book

"Have a lovely first day dear!" she called as I head out the doors. The weather was warm and sunny, taking a deep breath in. I smelt the freshly cut grass and perfume from the girls who had passed this way earlier, I slowly let it out trying to get rid of the nerves I was feeling.

I retraced my steps from last night, remembering the way Jacob had brought me home last night until I found the rose garden. The garden was as beautiful as I remember it being, I allowed my fingers to trail across them until i saw one wilting.

I looked around me seeing know own and cupped my hands around it feeling the life draining from it I gave it some of my own essence. when I opened my eyes I waited for a moment for the swirling green earth colour I knew would be there to fade and return my morning colours.

I took my hands away from the pink rose and grinned as it was in full bloom with the other, the light headedness I get from using that spell came as i stood straight and made me tumble but shaking it off I carried on walking.

I doubt I will get lost like yesterday, just back through the path Jacob showed you and you will be okay. I took another deep breath, I felt it was even more nerve racking walking alone through a unknown place then the fact it was my first day.

I looked up from the path I was walking on and breathed a breath of relieve when I spotted the familiar dark grey hair of my favourite rude saviour. Jacob, thank god.

"Hey!" I shouted as loud as I could to get his attention, he didn't turn around to me so I assumed this didn't work. I ran over to him, jump next to him and patted his back lightly to get his attention.

"Hey Jacob" I breathed out through thepanting, damn I am unfit. Breathless from the sprint i had just pulled, I bent my knees and rested my hand on them catching my breath.

Meanwhile Jacob had stopped in his tracks, face shocked as he looked at me. I gave him a smile smile standing up to look at him as a wave of relief flooded his face before the seriousness took over once again.

"Oh, It's just you." He commented calmly looking down at me. "Good morning Luna," I have him another smile.

"Good morning Jacob." I gave him a large smile, he started walking again. his eyes focuses on the path ahead, I followed in tow walking next to him.

"Would you mind if I walked with you to class Jacob?" he looked down at me for a brief moment, Probably deciding if leaving me alone would get me lost. he looked back a t the path, before shacking his head.

"No it's okay with me, you'd probably end up getting lost." I knew it... I let out a sigh of annoyance but kept in pace with him looking at the path ahead too. we were silent for a moment.

"Thank you, I was worried about that." I told him honestly, he hummed in response but i saw the corners of his mouth twitch just a little into a smile.

"What was that?" I asked lifting and eye brow at him, when i heard him mutter something under his breath.

"I said you're hopeless." He repeated louder for me to hear. I shook my head, ass I thought laughing on the inside. Thankfully he wasn't changing for me even on my first day it did actually help with he nerves.

"Still thank you." I grabbed his hand with both of my hands and gave him a smile, we continued to walk as he looked down at our hands. His checks flushed pink and he looked away as we stopped.

"You are very friendly, aren't you?" I looked down and grew a flush of pink on my checks too, before I let go quickly and took a step back from him playing with my long hair I had left down today.

"Yeah, I'm sorry you remind me of a childhood friend." I scratched the back of my neck my own cheeks flushed.

"So i feel really comfortable with you around." He looked at me with curiosity as the pink on his check began slowly fading before my sight.

"A childhood friend, huh?" he pulled a face thinking, before an emotion I couldn't place flashed across his face.

"Yeah, my best friend from childhood. This was back when I lived in Vice count my birth home, When i moved away I think we grew apart but I can't really remember." He looked at me a little shocked. "Hey, Your originally from there too right?"

"Yes I am, I did assume you were too from the colours of your eyes." He reached out and touched my check but suddenly pulled away like I burnt him, Sadness unveiled on his face for only a moment.

He recovered faster then I hoped and went back to serious Jacob, coughing to cover up what he had done.

"Yes, well I was thinking. Maybe you know her since you lived there longer, her name was Layla?" I asked looking at him intently, His face showed he was uncomfortable with this but nodded. He looked deep in thought, eyes rattling from side to side as he dug through his brain.

"Layla..." He shifted from one foot tot he other while he rested his chin on his hand, he repeated the name again. His face grew more and more uncomfortable.

stepping forward I touched his hand to stop him and suddenly a large light surrounded me and Jacob. I looked at him and even he looked a little taken back by the light. He took a step back slightly while looking all around us, I grabbed his hand and held tightly worried for what was to come.
