"That is Hydro City we call it, it is only a small village but most of the villagers are warlock, wizards or witches that have graduated from the academy. Professors also live there and then some of course shop owners." He chuckled a little bit; I looked back at the bustling busy town.
"Will we be making a stop there? Is there where the station is? I would love to take a look around." Rylon shock his head and looked out the window as the little village disappeared, taken by the trees once again.
"No, I'm sorry. There is no stopping that the village today, my job is to get you to the academy. You need to learn your way around; you can visit the town in your own time." I huffed loudly in annoyance, I know it was childish but I would have liked to have seen it before I went there. The train suddenly jerked into a stop, I noticed we had stopped at the town.
"Are you sure we can't take a quick stop? We are here already." I looked at him in hope but the train began moving once again, I let out another huff of annoyance when I saw him smirking at me. The rest of the train ride was quite, I didn't feel like speaking since the sickness began to invade my body. After a couple of minutes the train finally came to a stop and Rylon stood up looking at me with a smile, he ushered me to stand up and follow him out of the train. When I stepped out we were in front of the large grey stone castles entrance, it had large open oak doors and the same grey stone wall around it connected to a black metal gate.
"Wow..." that was all I could muster as the building took my breath away, it was beautiful. It glistened under the sun light; I could feel my mouth wide open as I stared at it because my mouth was growing dry. "I actually made it mama," I let out a squeal of excitement, I watched Rylon jump at the noise and then smile at me. He cleared out his throat with a cough and put his serious face back on.
"Good to see you like the place." I looked over at Rylon and he shuffled through his bag for things. "Here we go, this is all you need to make it here and find your dorm." He handed me maps and my class on a piece of paper within a small black folder. I looked up from the black folder to him and he held one finger up to me as his phone went off.
He walked away while on the phone for a few moments and then returned catching my attention from watching other students around the entrance. He looked a little annoyed as he stood beside me.
"Unfortunately, I cannot take you to look around but I expect that following the map you will be alright." He gave me a light smile, I have him a quick hug.
"thank you." I said to him before he walked off, I gave a huge sigh and looked around me before pulling out the map and taking a look.
**
It had been a few minutes since I had been left alone and I was completely lost, this had been the third building I had wondered into and I still had no idea where I was. I took one more look at the plain map I was given. The map had no marking or buildings name, looking back up around me I had entered a room full of trophies. The walls were lined with shelves full of them, looking over them there were ones dating all the way back to the 1750's. I made a groaning noise fed up of being completely lost when a soft melody slowly got louder and seemed to be coming from the back of the room.
I felt an odd magnetic pull from the melody and dropped my bag on the floor following it, I didn't even think about what I was doing until I was stood in front of the figurine the melody was coming from. It was like the world had stopped while I was stood there, my breath and heart sounded extremely loud.
The figurine was of a beautiful Golden Dancing lady, she worse golden Egyptian robes and she was stood in a pose like she had just finished part of a dance. Her bare golden feet balanced her on top of a large diamond gem that glistened in the light of the room. It was completely beautiful.
My mind still remained blank at I looked at her carefully, waiting for her to move and dance like she looked destined to do. I still didn't have control of my body so I hadn't realised what I was doing, didn't know my hand was reaching out to her. A hand taking a hold of my small wrist in there large one was what had snapped me out of it.
"I would not touch that, if I were you." I stood still in that pose blinking a little bit before I realised what I had been doing, I looked over to the boy that the hand belonged to. The boy was the same height as me, with short and messy brown hair. His eyes were kind and soft brown as they stare at my own sharp bold coloured eyes.
We stood like this a little longer staring at each other before I blinked a couple of more timed and blushed, I looked at where his hand had my wrist before pulling us apart and taking a step back from him looking at the ground. I cradled my wrist to my chest and looked at him again briefly before settling my eyes on the statue.
I saw from the corner of my eye him too look at the beautiful thing before I heard his sigh. I looked at him as he turned back to me with a little smile.
"Yeah that statue is very valuable to the school." He pointed out now looking at me with a kind but straight face, his tone did not sound angry or even a little bit upset but I still felt the need to apologise anyway.
