I felt my body become weightless as I was lifted from the ground, The light flickered through my eyelids but I kept them closed. The room that was full of canting had stopped as numerous gasps spread out and was followed by whispered and hushed mumbling voices.
At first my body became hot, when the cold breeze began to skim across my skin the only place the heat had accumulated was my head. My body grew cold until it felt frozen like ice.
Suddenly the low mumbles and whispered grounded to a halt when the wishing of water was all I could hear and suddenly I was in a wave of silence. nothing but my steady breathing and the water like sound tat surrounded me.
Just when I thought the weirdness was finished and I had almost completed what was needed something slowly crawled up my leg. It spiralled around my right leg. spiralling around my body.
It was fir but not strangle tight until it spiralled it was down my arm and created a tangled up ball in my hand, still attached to the spiralled length against my body.
I felt my body being lowered to the ground as my body began to cool down the the tight spiral dispersed. The water sound had gone and I was met with just silence. When both of my feet were standing on the ground I finally opened my eyes.
Everyone was on the edge of their seats looking fascinated. There were a couple of faces that look shocked of scared and then Draco's was Sniggering. I let of o a large breath and my body grew weak.
I felt it sway before also pulling me to the ground, before I could even hit the ground however my body was held up. I looked up and through slightly blurred vision from squeezing my eyes to tight I saw Draco stood by my side.
His arms were around me and held me up securely, I looked over at the professor who looked just as shocked as everyone else was. Blinking and staring at me, I blushed as Draco lightly pulled my body to start walking.
Draco walked me - practically carrying me- over to my desk, when we grew closure Elliot stood up and grabbed my arm wrapping and arm around my waist to help Draco sit me down.
Once I was back in my seat, Elliot let go of me smiling. I felt everyone's eyes on my but I tried not to pay them any attention. Draco dropped a pile of straightened cards on my desk.
With out so much as a smile, he walked back to his desk and sat down. Picking up on of the cards I saw The professor getting closure from a distance, The cards themselves were coated in a shiny hardened gloss coat.
looked over the back of the cards there was outlined in gold and each card had a different symbol. Every card had a different animal on the back, each animal came with different symbol of my controlled element.
some have water, other fire, some air and earth. one or two had lightning and ice, as well as metal and other elements I didn't control but were on there. Maybe I will be able to control them if I practice.
The cards were gorgeous, I picked them up in my shaking hands and looked over them. Draco looking over my shoulder and Elliot beside me. The professor moved away and went back to her board turning around to face us.
The professor cleared her throat bringing the class's attention back to her. he face twists back from it's shock to a smile spread ear to ear as she looked over our class.
raising her right hand she clicked her fingers and it sprang the chalk to life writing on the board behind her. It was the first time since sitting back down where I felt free from staring eyes boring holes in my head.
"Right Class, Lets continue shall we?" she clapped her hands together and smiled over at her students who once more lets out a groan but it wasn't as loud of have as many voices mixed in this time.
"This year is going to be interesting..." I heard a girls voice speak quite loudly, she was sitting a couple rows back and it was clear she aimed for me to hear that.
"Did you know that Tarot Cards contain both Major and Minor arcana?" She began pacing around her desk and making hand gestors as she spoke.
"Can anyone tell me how many Major arcana cards are in a full deck?" the class remained silent and after a moment she looked around the room and looked straight at me. "Luna? can you answer this please?"
Nodding my head I stood up as gestured to do so, I kept my eyes on the teacher as she smiled at me. She nodded her head as I took deep breath.
"There are 22 Major Arcana cards in a single deck." I tried to my my voices as clam and leel as possible, My heat was still pounding from earlier.
I sat back down as I grew dizzy with the wear-ness that passed over my worn out body. I took a steady breath as Elliot handed over a chocolate bar and smiled whispering.
"This should help bring your stamina back up." I looked over at him and weakly smiled before breaking off a bit and nibbling on it, I felt myself slowly feeling better and thanked Elliot.
"Yes Luna, That is correct. Very good." She gave me a encouraging smile and I smiled back letting go of a sigh. I didn't even know I knew the answer to that.
"Pft, great. We now have a show off in our class that not only has the cold prince around her snake like fingers but the sun prince to." I heard a girl whine behind me.
"I know what a total bitch." I heard a second voice spit, I felt there eyes boring into the back of my head. I sunk lower in the seat but a hand on my shoulder squeezed lightly.
Looking behind me I saw Draco glare at two girls next to him. On girl that was beside him had large puffy blonde hair like a main and plumb glossed up lips with long extended lashes.
The girl beside her also cowering was smaller, she had short black bobbed hair, red eyeshadow and lipstick. her eyelashes too were long.
"Shut it." I heard Draco snap an growl casing the two girls to jump and turn away eye now glued on the teacher as if there lives depended on it.
