When my eyes fluttered open the next morning it was because of rustling in the kitchen behind me, after a long night of talking me and Hannah had fallen asleep in the living room. I sat up from my uncomfortable curled up position on the sofa, I let out a loud audible yawn stretching out my sore muscles. Slowly I raised myself off the sofa and walked over to the bar table sitting on a stool raising an eyebrow at Hannah who gave me a sheepish look before continuing to make the scrambled eggs.

"sorry, I can't help waking up early and I thought you could do with some breakfast before you head out," she placed the eggs on two plates and turned placing one in front of me and one in the empty seat beside me. After placing the dirty utensils in the sink she sat beside me.

"Thank you so much" I gave her a large smile before stuffing my face with the most amazing and flavoursome, I moaned in delight as the heavenly taste hit my taste buds. Other than that we ate in silence, once we were finished eating without a word we started cleaning the mess that was made. Hannah wiped the sides as I washed up the dirty pots and utensils, as i placed the last plate on the drying board there was a sharp knock on the front door.

I saw Hannah jump at the same time as me from the corner of my eye, her head snapped to me as I slowly turned to her. Her face held confusion but I saw the worry swirling in her eyes, I walked packed her placing down the hand towel on the side beside her. I gave her a reassuring smile and walked over to my doors; I took a silent but deep breath and placed on my best smile opening the door.

The morning light invaded my dim light home and blinded me, I turned away scowling. I heard a small chuckle as I rubbed my eyes, I looked up at the blurry figure allowing my eyes to focus. The all figure came into focus starting with ink black hair that was long and tied back in a neat pony tail. Dark brown eyes that reminded me of a rich chocolate fountain, he wore square glasses and a navy blue suit with a red tie. The boy bowed to me slightly with a nice light smile, before standing up straight.

"Good Morning, is this the Rose household?" I nodded my head in confirmation. "Is Miss Luna Rose available?" his voice was sweet and light, it reminded me of a wind chime in the summer breeze. Again I nodded to him as I memorized details of his face and my eyes landed on the Hydro academy's uniform, "My name is Rylon, I am your escort to hydro academy."

Rylon eyes shined brightly when he noticed the smile that widened on my face. This was actually happening; I turned back and smiled at Hannah. She gave me a lopsided smile and shrugged before turning away and heading upstairs. My smiled dropped as I watcher he retreating back, heaving out a sigh I turned back to Rylon.

"Forgive me for my friend, she's just upset." I moved out the way and gestured for the student to come in, "Are you usually the person to take the students to the academy?" he looked at me before steeping in allowing me to shut the door behind him.

"I am one of a few students who volunteer, I for one have never been this far away... is this your home or your work?" he turned back to me and smiled after taking a look around my home.

"It's both, I work from home... Please make yourself at home, I will just go grab my bags." He nodded and headed to the sofa to sit down; I made my way to the spiral steps but stopped before stepping on it as Rylons light voice floated into my ear.

"Get dressed into your uniform while you at it; we will be heading out soon." I didn't look back at him I just headed upstairs without a word; I entered my room to see Hannah sniffling on my bed. I walked over and wrapped my arms around her; I let her cry for a couple of minutes. After a few moments of silence we both simultaneously stood up and began on packing, while Hannah packed the rest of my stuff I headed into the bathroom and got dressed.

I brushed my teeth and hair tying them into pigtails; I quickly put some shimmering silver eyes shadow on and a light touch of mascara with a layer of see through lip gloss. As I was doing my little routine I packed my toiletry bag, once I felt I had packed everything up and walked out of the bathroom. My bedroom was empty, there was a little note on my now fully pack suitcase. I stuffed the toiletry bag into my travel bag; I picked up the letter and looked at her prefect neat cursive handwriting that spelt out my name.

I turned it over to open the envelope when a voice invaded my beautiful silence, he called my name. It was obvious to me it was time to leave, the atmosphere around me changed almost immediately it was if the house it's self knew I was going away. As if the house knew I wouldn't be back for a long while ad it wasn't wrong. I heaved out a big sigh grabbing my bags and headed off down the stairs.

I skimmed my fingers across the old rose wall paper that I had helped my mother ick out when I moved here, she had allowed me to pick it out to help me feel more at home when I had moved here. The first day I came here I was bought over by my farther friend; I had cried all day and night that I had my mother in panic mode all the time. I never meant to of course but until that day I had never knew my mother, she has always been good to me and as I grew older she told me stories of my birth and why my farther and I was on our own.

My mother tried to make sure I never had any sad memories here but I know I had one very sad memory but I couldn't put my finger on what that it was that was making me feel this sad. I shook my head of the feeling as I took the last step and walked up to Rylon with a small smile. He took my bag and clicked his fingers; the bags disappeared in front of my eyes. I let out a little laugh before looking at Rylon in the eyes, he smiled down at me and held his hand out.
