"I was thinking, there probably is a lot you still don't know about the school as you are new. I was wondering if you wanted me to show you around the school?"
A smile grew on my face and went to agree but then I remembered what had happened earlier this morning.
"Are you going to be okay to do this? do you have enough time and energy?" I kept facing a head not showing the sadness that was brought by thinking he wouldn't have time for me.
"Yeah of course I have the time and energy, I wouldn't have suggested it other wise...
"Also I am a little worried you got lost to the girls dorm using a map, I fear you will get lost trying to find other places without a map!
"So I want to help so i don't find out from someone you got embarrassingly lost." I blushed from embarrassment, I couldn't tell if he was joking with me or if he was being serious.
His face was always so hard to read s it was continuously serious.
"Seriously! Come on Jacob!" I whined, Did he really have to bring that back up? "you know, your mean!"
"What are you talking about now?" He muttered before looking back down at me as we walked. I could tell he had completely ignore me, seeming bored with this conversation.
"You made fun of me for not reading that stupid map." I barked out looking at him annoyed, He looked down at me thinking for a moment before closing his eyes and sighing looking back down the hall we were walking.
"Oh... Right sorry about that. I let my mouth get the best of me again, I didn't mean anything by it." he explained, his face showed how sorry he was. The annoyance that had bubbled simmered away and I let out a sigh.
"Don't worry about it, Just forget it." I sighed in defeat, He nodded his head and kept walking for a moment in silence.
"it's just... It bothers me and plays on my mind if I don't speak my mind to people and say the truth." He tried again to explain, But you shouldn't say the truth so blunt like that if all it is going to do is hurt others and be unhelpful.
"I promise I will try and hold back the bluntness from now on." he sighed with a mutter, I nodded my head not looking at him.
"Don't worry to much about it, I'm sure I will get used to it soon." I finally looked at him with a small smile as we made our way down the stairs.
Tripping on my own feet I almost fell face first into a rollie pollie down them but Jacob caught me.
"Careful!" he help me stabilise before continuing. "in any case I will try but you will have to tell me if I do something wrong." he smiled at me.
My heart let out a little flutter as his smile was mesmerising casing me to smile back and chuckle
"okay, I will." I agreed with a nod, He must be awkward around other people but I am glad he seems a little relaxed with me at least.
"Okay, where would you like to visit first?" he asked stopping in his tracks, he cocked his head tot he side but i didn't need to think about where I wanted to go.
"The library!" I called out with excitement, with a nod of his head he began walking.
We made our way down the large grand stair case at the entrance of the school before turning right and heading down the long corridor full of doors and oil paintings.
"These are all the old head teachers." Jacob mentioned when he noticed me looking at them.
We stopped outside a pair of dark oak doors, I looked at Jacob before he pushed open the heavy doors with a creak.
A bright golden light flooded from the room into the dim hallway and blinded me slightly. when my eyes adjusted it revealed a large room with overly high ceilings to compensate for the extra floors.
From the ceiling hung and overly large golden chandelier with Crystals hanging from it and causing a rainbow like glow on the walls, floor and ceiling itself. truly breath taking.
"This is truly amazing!" I almost shouted looing at the room with amazement.
There were two stories above us and two below, Students busied themselves with reach and waving within the rows and rows of books.
Familiars flow and ran through out the library playing with each other but not disturbing the students.
The wall opposite us as one large books shelf on separated by the floors.
"I have never seen so may books in one place!" I gasped taking a few steps into the room and truing around to look at the overly exaggerated large room.
I felt Jacobs eyes on me as he chuckled following me into the room. by the door we had walked in from stood a large dark oak desk, tat was being occupied by a demon.
Bastaci-Demon
They are not massively strong and easy to tame, The were more commonly known as the three eyed cat demon.
He work a black suit with a white under shirt and black tie. his third eye was closed but the other two were a sharp green that were trained on me as I looked back at him.
Jacob grabbed my shoulders turning me an walking away from the no furred, peach sinned cat demon.
"You should star into his eyes Luna, you know this." I opened my mouth to argue but then something interrupted me.
"He's right" I heard Griffins raspy voice breath into my head.
"you're awake? how are you feeling?" I asked back in my head as we walked.
"Better thank you." I heard his voice slip from my head and it felt empty once more like a wall had been built between us.
"Anyway the academy is world famous for it's library." he pointed out to me as he let go of my shoulders and casually walked with me around the Library.
This information I did already know this fact of the academy, it was also one of my items on a bucket list I had made that even if i didn't come to the academy as a student I would at least visit the library as it is open to the public on weekends.
"They say that if a book is not in this library then is does not exist." I said as he waved his are to a section of rare books.
"that is truly amazing, do you like books Jacob?" I asked him with curiosity running through my veins. I might as well try and get to know him while i have this time too.
"I do ready sometimes but I don't love books just merely use them. what about yourself?" after a moment he chuckled causing me to look at him
"I bet you don't read at all." I felt as though he knew that comment wasn't true from the tone of his voice.
"Actually I love reading." I corrected him with a proud and serious tone, He nodded once and grabbed my wrist pulling me out the library.
I noticed the demon had not stopped watching us and it had began making us both unnerved until we were out the room and the doors slammed behind us.
I think he could sense your bond with the other demon." Jacob muttered I nodded my head and we stood there in silence for a moment.
"where would you like to go next then we have the green hose, court yard and the auditorium." he asked, I took a moment to think about this.
"How about the greenhouse?" I asked, I didn't know that this was something the school had but apparently they did.
He nodded to me in agreement letting go of my wrist and lead the way to the greenhouse, his pace was slow so I was able to walk beside him.
