A Witches Battle - Part one

I saw down the grass beside a small clear blue lake surround by fern trees just outside the school official grounds. We have toured the entire school and I even got to see and advanced magic class in the hall.

I let out a sigh of relaxation, I finally knew where I was going. It was nice to give my poor weary legs a rest. Jacob continued to stand next to me.

"Well that concludes the entire school tour." He has in a proud voice as he looked down at me. I gave him a smile.

"Thank you, It was a lot of fun and I also know where I am meant to be going." I chuckled, Jacob joined in on the chuckle. I held up on of my hands, he tok his and I felt him get ready to pull me up to my feet.

With an evil grin I gave a sharp yank and caught him off guard causing him to lad on the flood beside me. at first his face was showing it was in shock. confusing swirled on to his face before understanding.

suddenly Jacob let out a large laugh realise I had pulled him to the ground. I join in on his laugh until we both calmed down, our eyes settled on the calm scenery before us. our back lent against each other and I began to feel myself relax.

"I am glad you enjoyed today Luna." his voices wasn't loud, with a quite, relaxed and gentle. It sounded as thought he two was feeling sleepy. I hummed in response as out heads leaned on each other.

"you know it's funny... I feel like me and you have met before." I spoke out, it wasn't actually meant to be an out loud statement but it was true. He seems oddly familiar like an old friend I couldn't quite but my finger on.

"really? In like a past life?" he questioned, he sounded curious but didn't make an attempt in moving.

"More like past in this life." We sat in silence mulling overt he familiarity. I spoke up aging after a few minutes. "It's a strange feeling. almost like Dé Ja vu but different, weird little bubbles floating around in my brain but so out of reach I can't touch them.

"The comfort and butterflies in my stomach when I am stood beside you, a familiar feeling I have not had in years. I am always happy and excited when I see you but I feel like I am not supposed to be? Like it's wrong that I feel that way... I shouldn't be allowed to more like."

I removed myself form the leaning tower and pulled my knees to my chest curling around them, I rested my chin on my knees. I felt him more and star boring holes into the back of me.

I refused to give into the feeling of looking at him, I felt the damns in my eyes about to burst the feeling that I had wronged him in some way clear in the pit of my stomach made me feel sick.

He thankfully remained silent, watching me like a hawk to see if I needed putting back together or if I was strong enough to do it alone but I didn't need saving. With a deep breath I pushed the feeling and thoughts aside and finally looked at him chuckling.

"Talk about dark clouds aye? Sorry about that, that was weird no on wants a stranger talking about them like that." he didn't react, move or speak. He watched me, judging if my reaction to my own darkness was genuine.

"It's fun for me to... to be around you I mean." He mumbled finally, I watched his face glow a crimson red and he turned away in an attempt to hid his face.

"I'm glad, It make me happy you enjoy my company." I reached out and touched his arm gently. He looked over at me first at my hand and then my face. I felt my own blush creep up and I pulled away.

"I-I mean you know.. it means we would make great friends right?" I have him an embarrassed smile which he returned looking down where my hand recently lay.

"Yeah..." his whispered placing his hand where mine was and rubbed it with his thumb, he lifted his head up catching my yes with his own and we looked at each other for a moment.

after a moment or two I blinked his minty breath covered my face as it seemed we had leaned closure. it seemed he realised it to and with red faces we pulled away and turned from each other.

"S-so...before you asked me If i danced.. W-what about you?" I questioned attempting to turn away form the embarrassing display by remembering what he had said in the auditorium. He would not have apricated that Luna... get your head in the game!

"I-i can sing..."he said I looked over to his to see his red face looking a little disappointed. He must be annoyed I ruined the silence, I felt bad that i had ruined his silence but now I was curious.

"C-can I hear you sing?" I was curious but I didn't want to bug Jacob to much, he had already done a lot for me today.

"Nope 'I get stage fright'" he mimicked me with a smirk, showing he had clearly seen though the small white lie I had concocted earlier. I let out a sigh, he was my buddy I was going to have to trust him.

"?Yeah about that..." he put a hand up to stop me.

"I know you don't have stage fright, I am your partner though so you can trust me." he comforted. I smiled at him and nodded my head get comfortable and faced him.

"I can't dance in front of other people, when I dance my magic is released and I don't have full control over it. It's extremely dangerous." I explained, Jacob nodded to me listening intently.

"I used it in class the other day and I felt the power, the danger it could bring and I hate that feeling." I sighed.

"you know, I could help you control it. I myself am strong, controlling it was a large part of my training." he shrugged with a smile as if it was not a big deal to him.

"Really? that would be amazing but you HAVE to sing for me first" I begged him with gratitude. he huffed and smiled standing up.

"Fine but you get only one song and you are not allowed to tell anyone!" he pointed at me, I giggled with excitement and watched as he stood in front of me laughing as i got comfortable.
