Atsumu rolled around in bed, groaning when he couldn't find a comfortable position. He tapped his phone and saw that the time read 1:03 am. He slapped a hand to his face, sighing loudly.

"Why the hell can't I fall asleep?!" he said, exasperatedly. But he knew very well why. Atsumu couldn't get his mind off the dark haired boy from before.

"Ugh, Omi, why didja hafta keep me up like this!?"

Finally after some debate, Atsumu quietly dressed into leggings and a hoodie, grabbed his keys and drove to the ice rink. He had a habit of doing this when he couldn't sleep. Skating always relaxed his mind and put him in the right headspace. Of course, Samu didn't know because he would go crazy if he knew Tsumu was going out this late but Atsumu really needed to get out tonight.

He had keys to the rink (courtesy of his favorite custodian) and let himself in but stopped in his tracks when he saw that the lights were already on. His heart-rate picking up, he listened carefully and heard sounds coming from the rink across from the one he usually skated on. Dropping his bag and skates, he crept up to the entryway of the rink and the sounds of skates and a hockey stick hitting the ice grew louder. All of a sudden, the sound stopped and Atsumu could feel his pulse quicken even faster. He carefully peaked around the corner and almost screamed when he saw familiar curly hair and dark eyes standing right in front of the corner he was hiding by.

"What are you doing here being all creepy Miya?" Sakusa asked, crossing his arms.

"OMI, jeezus ya scared the hell outta me! And don't call me Miya, my brother has that last name too ya know. It makes it confusing." Atsumu said, still breathing heavily from his scare.

"Fine whatever Atsumu. And you didn't answer my question."

"What am I doin' here? I think I should be askin' ya that question. How did ya even get in anyway?"

"The back door from the men's locker room. It's unlocked most of the time," he said as if it was so obvious. "How did you get in if you didn't go that way?"

"Me? Oh, Mr. Nekomata the custodian gave me a key when I was in Middle School cause I came to practice so much and I caught a cold one time waitin' outside for someone to lemme in. So what are you doing here anyway Omi?" Atsumu said, elbowing the taller boy in the side.

"I come when I don't feel like listening to my cousin snore all night." he replied.

"So basically ya couldnt sleep?" Atsumu asked as they sat next to each other on the bleachers facing the rink. Sakusa crossed his arms and looked up at the ceiling. Atsumu did the same.

"Nah, but it's pretty normal for me to not get much sleep. What about you? You always seem so energetic and lively."

"Eh, I pretty much never get a full night's sleep. I try to but it's just hard sometimes. I mean especially when ya wanna vent to someone but yer best friend is spendin' time with his boyfriend and yer brother is spending time with his so it's kinda like a lose lose situation ya get me? Damn, I jus wish there was that one person that would pay attention to ya at 2 am when ya really need to jus talk it out." Atsumu said, staring at the ceiling, not realizing Sauksa was looking at him with a sad look in his eyes.

"Oops! I'm so sorry Omi! I bet ya didn't come here just to have an annoying guy you just met come and dump his life problems on you. I'm really sorry," he said, standing up quickly from his spot. "Don worry, I'll go so ya can have the quiet again!"

"Hey Atsumu, relax. I honestly am glad that you barged in on me. I was struggling with my shots and getting down about it anyway so really I should be thanking you. Also, I don't think you're annoying, I think that you really need someone close to you who will be there when no one else is. Everyone around you has already found themselves someone like that, it's just a matter of time before you find someone for yourself. Trust me." said Sakusa, motioning for Atsumu to come sit on the bleachers again. Atsumu smiled softly at the curly haired boy and sat down next to him again.

"Don't worry Omi, I won't tell everyone that yer jus a big ol' softie aren't ya," Atsumu teased lightly "but Omi, can I ask ya somethin' kinda personal?"

"Why the hell not. Knock yourself out."
