After they picked that out they went to get necessities like a bed, food, a litter box, and food and water bowls. They still had a few minutes left so they got Hoshi a couple toys to play with. They each picked out one and Atsumu chose a little Onigiri and Sakusa chose a yellow fish on a string for Hoshi to chase around.
They went to pay and then headed back towards the clinic. After a minute or two, the doctor came out carrying a clean, happy looking Hoshi who mewed when he saw the two boys.
"I'm glad to say that this little guy is completely healthy! I vaccinated him fully and he was not microchipped so he doesn't belong to anyone." the doctor said.
"Actually he does. Or, well not yet at least. I was hoping to adopt him." Sakusa replied.
"Wonderful! You are pretty much all set to go, I just need you to talk to Hina here and she will fill out the rest of the paperwork." he motioned at a sweet looking brown-haired girl at the desk who smiled at them.
"Thank you doctor!" Atsumu said as the doctor handed Hoshi over to Sakusa who held him close, smiling softly at the kitten.
"I can help you out right here!" Hina said from the desk. They walked over and talked with her about adopting, filling out the rest of the paperwork and finally, finally they could go.
The pair walked out to the car, Sakusa still holding Hoshi close to his chest.
"Do ya want me to drive since yer holdin' Hoshi?" Atsumu asked, looking hopeful. Sakusa laughed.
"Yeah I guess you can. Just don't crash, I love my car." he joked. They climbed in the car and Atsumu started it, pulling out of the parking lot.
"Do ya wanna get lunch Omi? It's already noon and I'm hungry. My treat since ya just adopted my dream kitty for me." he said sweetly.
"Yeah that sounds good, and hey I'm still cool dad #1. You can be not as cool dad #2." Sakusa said, snickering at Atsumu's offended face.
"RUDE OMI-OMI! Hmph, you don get lunch now. Only me."
"Nooooo, Tsumu I'm hungry. I need food. You can be cool dad too."
"Hmmmm," Atsumu said, tapping his chin with his finger like he was thinking. "I guess you can have some. And I will always be coolest dad. You can be a little less cool than coolest dad dad."
"You know what, if I dont drop this I'll never hear the end of it from you so you win." Sakusa sighed.
They pulled into the drive through of a Matsuya Sushi they decided on. After ordering, Atsumu paid and drove away with the bag of food, the smell making all three of their mouths water. Sakusa opened the bag and looked inside.
"Oh my god this looks so good." he said, taking out his food and starting to eat it.
"Ugh Omi! Yer making me hungry and I can't drive and eat at the same time!" Atsumu whined.
"You're such a baby," said Sakusa, rolling his eyes "here." He grabbed Atsumu's food and held up a bite for him to take. Atsumu laughed and ate the food Sakusa offered him.
"Mmmm that's really good."
"I know, right." The two went on like this, talking about trivial things while Sakusa fed Atsumu who was busy driving, until Atsumu drove to Sakusa and Komori's apartment building. They both got out of the car, Sakusa holding Hoshi close to him, and Atsumu carrying the bags from the pet store.
They made their way up to Sakusa's Apartment and the black haired male opened up the door with his key.
"I'm home Ko, and Tsumu is here! Also I have a hugeeee surprise for you!" he called out.
"Oh I love surprises! We're in the living room!" he heard a familiar voice call out. Atsumu gave Sakusa a puzzled look.
"It's probably Daishou." he responded, reading Atsumu's mind. The blond ust nodded and smiled.
"He's gonna be so excited,'' he whispered.
"Pfttt, he better be." Sakusa laughed.
They walked into the living room, Sakusa standing behind Atsumu so Komori couldn't see what he was holding. They spotted the Brunette on the couch, his boyfriend Daishou's arm around him.
"Hey Atsumu! What are all the bags for? And Cuz, why are you standing behind him like a creep?" Komori asked, confused.
"Ko, meet Hoshi." Sakusa said, grinning as he stepped out from behind Atsumu, revealing the tiny blonde kitten. Komori let out a small scream and scrambled up from the couch, racing towards his cousin.
"HOLY SHIT KIYO YOU DID NOT!" he whisper yelled, not wanting to scare the kitten.
"We found him alone outside the rink and brought him to the vet." Sakusa explained.
"I loved him but I can't keep him cause Samu is terribly allergic and Omi said ya loved animals." Atsumu added as Sakusa gently handed the small thing to an elated Komori who looked like he was gonna burst into tears.
"I love him so much. I love him. I love him, I love him! Dai, look at this darling." he said as he walked over to the couch with the kitten and sitting next to Daishou again who smiled fondly at his happy boyfriend.
"He's so cute. I can't believe you kept him Sakusa!" Daishou said.
"I'm so happy I could cry," said Komori, getting emotional. His boyfriend chuckled.
"Babe, don't cry. It's okay." he said laughing, kissing the brown haired male's forehead.
"Ah! Well here's all the stuff. I'll let you guys get settled in. Nice to meet you Daishou and good to see you Komori!" Atsumu said to the two on the couch.
He then turned around to face Sakusa, smiling brightly at him. Sakusa felt his stomach do a summersault, like it did every time he saw this boy smile.
"I hope ya know I'll be over here all the time now. Can't have my son missin' Coolest Dad." he giggled and Sakusa laughed. "Well anyway, see ya tomorrow Omi-Omi."
"Wait, Tsumu, do you want me to drive you home?" he offered.
"Oh no, it's okay! Thanks Omi." He looked like he was thinking for a second, then suddenly giving the taller boy a quick hug and waving bye, leaving Sakusa to stand there flustered for a moment before he regained himself.
He looked towards the couch where Komori and Daishou were both smirking at him. Even Hoshi was looking at him.
"What?" he asked defensilvy. ——————————————————————————— YA-HOO BOOS!
