Atsumu and Osamu went to practice together as usual. As they walked inside the building they saw the usual gang huddled in a group and as soon Oikawa spotted Atsumu he screamed and rushed over, followed by a grinning Tendou.
"I- What is i-"
"TSUMU LOOK!" Oikawa yelled at him, nearling knocking him over as he and Tendou reached their best friend.
Atsumu was confused for a second until Oikawa held out his hand for Atsumu and Osamu to see and they saw a beautiful, simple, diamond ring on Oikawa's hand.

"Hajime gave it to me yesterday on our anniversary! It's a promise ring!" he said, smiling so huge. Atsumu's jaw dropped.
"Oh my god Kawa, it's so gorgeous." Tendou said, still staring at the ring.
"HOLY CRAP ITS BEAUTIFUL OIKS I'M SO HAPPY FOR YA!" Atsumu squealed, throwing his arms around his best friend.
(Btw, Tendou and Atsumu have 2 nicknames for Oikawa. Kawa and Oiks)
As they squeezed each other he spotted Iwaizumi watching his boyfriend with an adoring smile on his face. They finally released each other and Osamu clapped a hand on Oikawa's shoulder.
"Hey, that's amazing Oikawa. I'm really happy for you." Osamu said, smiling at him.
"Aw, thanks Samu."
They made their way back towards the group and Atsumu hugged Iwaizumi.
"It's stunning Iwa, congrats." the blond said.
"Thanks Tsumu, I'm just glad he loves it."
As the teams started to get their gear on, Atsumu spotted someone who he didn't really realise he was looking for until now.
The tall, black haired boy was sitting on a bench a bit away from the group, tying his skates up. Atsumu made his way over and sat down right next to him. The boy looked up, anxious at who was this close to him, but when he saw who it was he relaxed and smiled.
"I should have known it was you."
"And why is that Omi-Omi?" Atsumu said, smiling and starting to lace up his figure skates.
"Because everyone else thinks I'm mean." he said, chuckling.
"Well ya should know by now that I am gonna be hard ta get rid of and for yer information, not everybody thinks that. Ya jus give off kind of an unapproachable vibe. Ya should really smile more, like ya do around me!" the shorter said, grinning at him. Sakusa chuckled and gave a shy smile.
"See, there ya go! So cute!" Atsumu said, laughing and poking Sakusa's dimple.
(Yes he has dimples, don't come at me.)
Just then, both boys were called over by their teams because practice was about to start.
"I'll see ya in a bit Omi! M'kay?" said Atsumu, standing up and waving as he walked over to his friends.
"Yeah, bye Tsumu." he replied, waving to the other. After feeling rested and happy, Atsumu had a great practice and felt amazing when the two teams finished.
"Wow! Run throughs felt great today!" he said happily.
"I know! It was a good day today for everyone." Oikawa agreed.
"Yeah, even the younglings looked pretty good! They're improving really fast, I'm impressed." Tendou added. The two others nodded in agreement.
"Hey Tsumu, ya ready ta go?" Osamu asked, standing by the doors, Suna standing next to him.
"Yep," he said, starting towards the two but then stopping in his tracks. "Actually, you two go ahead, I'll meet ya by the car Samu!"
"Ya sure?" the grey haired male asked.
"Yep!" Osamu and Suna shrugged and headed towards the car in the parking lot.
Atsumu turned around and spotted Sakusa, aside from everybody else who was still lingering and talking to each other. When the taller boy stood up from where he was putting things in his bag and started walking towards the doors, he saw Atsumu looking at him.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" he asked, confused.
"Cause I'm waiting." the blond said simply.
"Waiting for what?"
"For you stupid." he laughed.
"Why?"
"Because I thought about what ya said before and yer too nice to me to be walking alone. Plus we're friends aren't we?" Atsumu said, matter-of-factly.
"Hm, those motives seem a bit sketch to me." Sakusa joked, smirking playfully.
"Don even gimme that. I could have easily walked away with Samu." Just then, Atsumu gasped and cackled.
"I should have left you on that street corner where you were standing." he said, in a lower voice, full of drama. Sakusa, immediately catching on, laughed and added to the vine.
"BUTCHYA DIDN'T." he shot back, the two of them falling into a hysterical fit of laughter.
"God, that vine is so old." Sakusa said, still giggling.
"But it's still so damn funny for no reason." noted Atsumu, wiping tears from his eyes. At this point they were outside the building, heading towards the parked cars.
"Well I'll see ya lat-" Atsumu was cut off by Sakusa shoving his hand, smothering his face to make him be quiet.
"Wha- Omi!" he tried to start again.
"Oi, shut up for a sec Tsumu." the raven haired male said in a hushed voice.
The two of them were silent and listened carefully. A couple seconds passed and Atsumu was about to complain about being shushed when he heard the sound.
It was a soft mewing sort-of sound coming from around the corner of the building. The two gave each other a look and then carefully and quietly tip-toed towards the sound. They both peeked their heads around the corner, searching for the source of the sound but didn't see anything.
Then Atsumu suddenly gasped and poked Sakusa's cheek to get him to look at where the blonde was pointing. On the ground lay a small, shaking kitten, looking up at them with big golden eyes. ——————————————————————————— Ya-hoo Boos! ✨
I hope you all enjoyed this chapter! I had to add a little Iwaoi because... ima be honest here I don't have a reason. But there will be little cameos of other ships of your guy's choice (see latest author note) like that in the story.
Also, school will be starting next week. 😔😔😔 I will absolutely try my hardest to keep updates flowing but if things slow down I'm truly so sorry.
